"THE FIGHT OF REALITY"
vindy came back home and told lisa about this. lisa comforted her but she kept crying whole day. "why all this happened to me, lisa ?" asked vindy. "stop it! he doesn't deserve you" mentioned lisa. lisa's phone rang. "i should attend this and you will stop crying, ok?" lisa said and walked to kitchen to attend the call. "what the hell? you were in a relationship with billy?" lisa shouted on the phone. "it was one time thing. we ended things then" Veronica told her on the call. "have you told anything to billy? about what you saw..." questioned lisa. "no, no that night when he came upstairs after i shouted, i told him that i chased the blood smell" Veronica told ."thats a relief! you should have told me earlier about this relation and see now it messed things up" said lisa. "what's your plan now? billy cleared up his side story. your plan is not working. they gonna know the truth soon" Veronica said in curiosity. "i know, it's shocking that he confess. i didn't hope that he had guts to do this. leave it and listen to me carefully. now all investigators come to you so its in your hands to cover it up" lisa advised. "i will try my best" Veronica mentioned. lisa hung the call and opened the kitchen door. vindy was standing there outside. "i can't believe you" vindy said to lisa's face. "listen! whatever you thinking, it's opposite" lisa told her. "oh really! first my husband and now it's you" vindy replied in sorrowfull voice. "listen its not that! i know everything from the start. i was helping her. thats all" lisa cleared. A flash of fear passed through vindy's body. her face expressions changed suddenly. "umm what do you know?" Questioned vindy. "that night Veronica called me for help. she saw those people . it was some men who left the body there . there faces were covered with mask. they threatened her because of her family . they know about her father and had some proof of his corruption...." lisa told. "wait! Veronica's father was a corrupted police officer?" asked vindy. "yes he did alot of dirty work and maybe still doing. so they threatened her to show those proofs and they will be destroyed. she was crying on the phone and was begging for my help" mentioned lisa. "what those men need from her? and how did they have proof? they knew their family?" questioned vindy. "girl slow down! lots of questions. well she didn't know about those or how they had proof. but they threatened her to cover the situation. i swear she didn't tell me about the affair. she just told me that billy was there and he saw the body when she screamed and then left the place. after that she called me and told me everything. she was crying alot and leny also requested me to help her as she was our old friend and to be honest, i really did this for him not her so we made the plan." said lisa. "what plan?" asked vindy. "we decided to take everyone attention towards billy" lisa hesitated. "whatt?...yeah it was you all the time . you drew my attention too thats why i started doubting him. i started observing him for each action. yes it was you . how can you do this?" asked vindy in an anger. "i am sorry vindy, i had to do this. and i knew.. nothing will happen to billy untill there will be some authentic poof. it was just to cover up the story." lisa said. "you did wrong lisa. you broke my trust. you took her side and didn't thought twice that it will destroy my relationship" vindy said in sorrowfull voice. "yeah sure that relationship which was already finished when he cheated on you" lisa shouted. "i don't believe you , witch" vindy said in an anger. "what did you just said?" questioned lisa. "i think your ears dont work fine. go see a doctor" said vindy and left the house. she spent the night out while lisa was at home crying.
In the morning billy visited marry and told her everything. "oh ! you shouldn't kept it all. can you give me the address of Veronica's house" asked marry. "yeah i can" billy said. they were talking when vindy also entered the marry's office.
"you seems to be having a company. i will come later" said vindy and turned around when billy said "no need i was just leaving" he stood up and left.
"hey! how are you?" asked marry to vindy. "i have something important to tell you" mentioned vindy. "yup sure" said marry. vindy told her word to word detail that lisa told her earlier. "i am getting alot of surprises today. well thanks for telling. it will be helpful alot" marry said. Vindy greeted her and left.
vindy arrived home and knocked the door. lisa opened the door and said "hey! i am sorry for my early behaviour. i shouldn't said that about your relationship. it must be hurtful" . vindy got inside , put her bag on the couch. "i appreciate it and i also apologise for saying you witch" said vindy and both laughed. "where were you the whole time?" questioned lisa. "spent my night on the sea side and in the morning, i visited marry" vindy told. "marry...why? wait you didn't said anything. did you?" asked lisa with a little choking sound. "i did" said vindy. "nooooooo, no ,no ,no" said lisa holding her head with both hands. "see , it's good for all of us. marry could handle this easily. we will get ourselves in trouble" vindy comforted. "No you destroyed Veronica. i know why you did this....you took a revenge" said lisa angrily. "you are taking it wrong . listen girl i am not your enemy. i am just protecting you. you are my bestie. i love you. i care for you. i did what is right" told vindy sitting with lisa. lisa put her head on vindy's shoulder. Vindy passed a smile.
