Chapter I

(Carrisimes p.o.v)

It was another day at this hellhouse, The Sisters of Quiet Mercy. It's an orphanage east of London, in a village called Castle Hedingham, Essex. Most people believe that the sisters are nuns, whom are good people and treat us great. Most people are wrong. The sisters are terrible people who make us garden for them and cook and clean around the orphanage. If we do it wrong, they hurt us. Theu have even broken my arm a few times. I get the most pain, because I stand up for the younger girls and boys. The only good thing about this place is that it's the place where I met my bestfriends Alex and Delilah. Alex is gay, and he's 3 years older then Delilah and I. Delilah and I are 10. I turn 11 tomorrow, Delilah turns 11 on May 23rd.

I was talking with Alex and Delilah in the yard when I saw Sister Maggie slapping a young child. The child was crying.

"Carri don't-" Alex said, he knew what was going to happen.

"Al you know me, I have to." I said getting up. I raised my hand and Sister Maggie flew into the wall, she hit her head and passed out. I grabbed the kid and ran past Al and Lilah. They immediately got up an ran after me, unfortunately Sister Natalie and Sister Nina ran after me aswell. I left Alex and Delilah with the kid and ran off. I had an unusual gift, I knew it, they knew it, and the sisters knew it. I am Carrisime Nicole Jenkins, and I will change the world.
