Chapter 3

Rita fell to her knees the next day and cried for several minutes. She was so overwhelmed with emotion that she couldn't stop crying. She kept thinking about how many times she had forgiven William for his bad decisions and how much she cared about him.

She knew that she shouldn't have being in a relationship with William or betrayed her own parents like this. She had never intended to cause anyone in her life any problems, but she was so desperate to protect his reputation that she had done the unthinkable.

Rita knew she deserved everything that William had said to her in that letter. But despite the fact that she felt absolutely terrible, she also felt relieved. She was thankful that William was doing okay and that he had admitted that he still cared for her.

As Rita wiped away her tears, she thought about her life. She had never been very successful in school and she had never been the person who "made it big" in the world of business or finance. She was a waitress, and she planned on staying a waitress for the rest of her life. It was a job she was good at and one that she enjoyed doing. She didn't think she would ever be a CEO of a Fortune 500 company or an investment banker. However, she also realized that she didn't need to be a millionaire in order to feel fulfilled. She had a stable job, a roof over her head and enough income to cover all of her expenses. She had a great group of friends and most importantly, she had a loving family who supported her every move.

She realized that she had already achieved more success than she would have ever dreamed of when she was growing up. Even though she was a poor girl from the country, she was now living in New York City and working as a waitress. This was a dream come true for her. She was glad that she had followed her heart and ended up here. It was her dream job.

And so, she decided to forgive William for leaving her, for lying to her and for taking out a huge loan that he couldn't repay. She forgave him because she knew that he had made a mistake and that he couldn't help himself. She forgave him because she knew that he didn't mean to hurt her. And most importantly, she forgave him because he had finally written her back.

After one day from a tiring day at work, Rita decided to call William and invite him to lunch, but he refused. Instead, he offered to meet her in Central Park. He explained to Rita that he was giving up his home in Florida and moving to New York. He said he wanted to be closer to her, so they could continue their relationship, and that he was sorry that the relationship had ended in the way that it did.

He told her that he planned on selling his house and sending her the remaining money he owed to her. Then, he promised to send more money as soon as possible.

Rita was thrilled when she heard this. She knew William was going through a difficult time right now, but she also knew that he would always remain in her life. She hoped that the two of them could start anew, but she also knew that it wouldn't be easy. She knew that William was dealing with a lot of guilt, and it seemed like he would never be able to forgive himself for what he had done.

It took the two of them a lot of years to rebuild their relationship and it was never going to be easy for her to just throw away the relationship as if it never happened.

On the day that he was to come and visit her, she prepared herself very well for his arrival. She did her makeup well and made sure that she looked very pretty for him. It was a crazy thing for her to do, but it was better for her to be crazy in love with a man than to be crazy and be spending the rest of her life dealing with loneliness.

Rita was so excited that her life was coming back together slowly. She was excited that she was picking up the pieces of her life and everything was finally moving smoothly. She didn't know how to express the feeling she had within herself in respect to her situation with William. She was just happy that he was finally taking a big step and he was now ready to take a stand on who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Even though she knew it was not going to be easy for him, she was still willing to help him figure out what he wanted to do with his life. She was still willing to see how she could help him in becoming a better man. And, this change she was hoping for was going to make her be a happy woman.

The moment to meet William finally came and Rita was standing proudly in the place that he decided that they should meet. She was standing proudly in a way that it was impossible to determine how happy she was because she was really happy to see him. She was really happy to be standing side by side with the man she had always wanted in her life.

Her eyes finally met William, but instead of seeing him alone, she saw him with a woman she had never met before in her life. The woman was beautiful and she couldn't deny it.

"Rita," William called her name in a way that she had never heard him call her before. "I am sorry that we had to meet in this manner. I am sorry that I have not been the man you have always wanted. But, I have finally come to my senses. I finally know what I want. And, this woman you see here is exactly what I want."
