Medicated

"Szeina."

Gasping for breath, Szeina opened her eyes and instantly got assaulted by the faint smell of burning meat.

Groggily, she rubbed at her eyes, blinking at the sight hovering over her face. It took her a good minute before she realized that the two slits were actual eyes, the color of the owner's irises sporting a greyish glow, like Yvann's.

However, it wasn't Yvann whose face she finally saw.

Pushing herself to sit up, the other person stopped hovering and smiled at Szeina.

"She's awake." The woman resembling Feeliz's clothes and hairstyle called out, her attention focused on Szeina.

The front of the small tent she was in flapped open and, in an instant, Yvann rushed to her side. The look of relief evident on his expression.

"You had me worried." He admitted.

"I did?" She watched him nod, trying to remember what happened. Weirdly enough, only glimpses of a bright light and the sound of the screeching replayed in her memory.
