I choose me

Grace woke up the next day, a smile on her face.

Lory promised to take her boating today. They were going to see some sights and also swimming.

There was nothing she'd love more but be one with nature and especially go for a swim.

Grace sang in the shower. The brief talk she had with Lory the other night somehow cleared her head.

She made a mental note to call Jake today. She intended to tell him that he was no longer obliged to join her in the month long vacation but he's still welcome to do so.

However, she could no longer promise him that there would be anymore kissing or any of that intimate contact in the long run of their vacation together.

They'd be spending time as… friends.

After some restless thinking last night, she came to a decision that she's neither choosing Lory nor Jake. She's choosing herself and she's going to live in the moment,

Love, she'll stop longing and searching for it. If it comes, it will come.
