Chapter 57

Jae-hwan comes out of the office with Eun-sook. She was walking with him on the slope of the road.

Jae-hwan again gets the same phone call,

Jae-hwan to Eun-sook,"Just stay here!"

"I will answer this call and will come back!"

He leaves Eun-sook there and comes on the other side of the road.

Picks up the call,

Jae-hwan: Ya, what's your problem now.

I'm not going to answer your call everytime.

Caller: But you have to answer it.

Jae-hwan: Why?

Eun-sook was standing there and watching here and there while waiting for him.

When she turned on the right side where the slope has started, she saw a heavy cart of four wheels was falling down in the direction where Jae-hwan was standing.

Eun-sook was flustered,"No one is holding that cart!!"

She suddenly ran towards the other side of the road and pushed him forcefully.

[Ouch]

Jae-hwan falls down on the road. He then turned and saw that Eun-sook was watching the cart which was just coming to her.

Jae-hwan suddenly pulled her towards him by her hand.

[Thud]

Sound by the cart hitting the wall.

Eun-sook was lying on him. Her eyes were closed because of fear.

Jae-hwan asked her worriedly,"Are you okay?"

Eun-sook while closing her eyes,"Yes!"

Jae-hwan,"Then why your your eyes are closed!"

Eun-sook,"Just give me a minute!"

"I'm just scared!"

She then slowly opens her eyes and takes a deep breath,"I'm okay!"

Jae-hwan stood up and helps her to stand.

He then brushes away the dust and asks,"Are you really okay now?"

Eun-sook nodded as yes

Jae-hwan then saw his phone on the ground. He picks it up and sees that the call hasn't ended.

He then takes the phone close to his ear.

Caller: Damn! bro you were saved!

But you know what that I will be killing two birds with one arrow.

As if I will try to do something to you she will definitely come in between as she loves you.

So, someday she will be on a photo frame in your house as she will be dead by then.

Jae-hwan shouts: Ya!

Caller: Relax bro! She is right in front of you.

You can't say anything to me or she will hear.

And you know that how fragile, tender and innocent she is, totally opposite to you.

Jae-hwan: Where are you?

Tell me!

Caller: Bye bro!

Now decide what you have to do!

Call ended

Jae-hwan was angry,

Eun-sook asks him,"Whom were you scolding so loudly!"

Jae-hwan scolds,"Are you mad?"

"Why you came in between!"

Eun-sook,"What in between!!"

Jae-hwan,"I mean why you saved me!"

Eun-sook,"W...!"

Jae-hwan didn't let her complete and says,"Why you always try to save me!"

"And I end up feeling guilty for everything just because of you!"

He hold her from arms and says angrily,"That day when I was holding the knife why you grasped the blade of knife?

"And why you came behind me in the factory?"

"Today also you pushed me but you were standing there!"

"What if something have happened to you?"

"Everytime it would have been better if I had got hurt!"

"But you always comes in between and I end up regret for everything!"

Eun-sook was crying,"What you end up regretting?"

Jae-hwan,"I end up regretting that why I loved you!"

"And why you came in my life?"

Eun-sook covered his mouth from her hands and said,"Don't speak like this please!"

Jae-hwan removed her hands and leaves from there

Eun-sook tries to stop him but he already left

Jae-hwan wiping his tears again and again while driving.

Eun-sook was crying while sitting there.

Whoever was passing by through that way, was watching her.

Suddenly someone came near Eun-sook and said,"Eun-sook!"

"Are you okay?"

Eun-sook raised her head and saw that it was Jessie (Her only friend in school who betrayed her)

Eun-sook wipes her tears and said,"You are Jessie!"

"Right!"

Jessie,"Yes, right!"

"But why are you crying here like this!"

Eun-sook,"No, nothing happened!"

"I will sort out everything!"

Jessie,"Then would you like to come to my house!"

"I just live nearby!"

Jessie took Eun-sook to her home.

[After a while]

Jessie house,

Eun-sook,"How are you living then!"

Jessie came near and said,"Sorry!"

"I regret everything!"

Eun-sook,"What?"

Jessie,"Yes!"

"I regret betraying you!"

"I regret not listening to you!"

"You will be suprised to know that I'm a single mom and I have two daughters!"

Eun-sook shocked,"What?"

Jessie,"I got pregnant at a young age because I didn't listened to you!"

"And after he came to know that I'm pregnant he left me all alone!"

"And I gave birth to twins who is now 1 year old!"

"Just after that I got to know the real value of having a friend like you!"

"As no matter how harsh I was you always tried to bring me to the right path!"

"But I was really stupid!"

"And trust me that today I'm changed!"

Eun-sook consoles her,"I trust you!"

Jessie smiles and says,"You are still the same!"

"You easily trust people!"

Jessie asks,"But why were you crying there!"

Eun-sook,"Just I had a little fight with him"

"So, I will sort it out!"

Jessie,"Him?"

Eun-sook,"Yes, I'm talking about Jae-hwan!"

"You remember him, right!"

Jessie,"Oh that guy who was head over heels for you!"

Eun-sook,"And I live with him and I work in his company"

Jessie,"Wow, really!"

"Means you are married!"

Eun-sook,"No!"

"It's just like we live with each other!"

Jessie,"Looks like he really loves you dearly!"

Eun-sook,"Yes, he do loves me!"

"And I love him too!"

Jessie stood up,"Amazing!"

"Am I hearing this from you!"

Eun-sook,"I also didn't know that I will fall for him this hard!"

Jessie,"But you shouldn't trust him so easily!"

Eun-sook,"Who?"

Jessie,"That Jae-hwan!"

"I'm not talking in wrong way!"

"B.."

Eun-sook stood up and said,"I trust him blindly and I will trust him till the very end!"

Jessie stood up and said,"This is your problem!"

"Today you were crying like this because of him!"

"And he left you there all alone!"

Eun-sook,"No, it was my fault!"

Jessie,"Just listen to me as I have more experience then you!"

Eun-sook,"You can speak anything but not about him!"

Jessie,"Okay! Okay!"

Eun-sook sits down

Jessie,"See everyone is not trustworthy?"

"And you are so innocent that you can trust anyone!"

"I knew it for sure because I have experienced it!"

"So, what I'm trying to say is you are living with him without any relationship!"

"So, he can betray you anytime as he got everything either power, money and all"

Eun-sook,"I told you not to speak anything about him!"

Jessie,"Okay!"

"Sorry, I will not say it!"

"But if you need me anytime then call me!"

"And I live here all alone"

"So, whenever you need a friend!"

"Then you can come here!"

Eun-sook stood up and said,"I'm leaving!"

"I want to talk to him!"

Jessie,"Okay, and remember what I said!"

Eun-sook didn't said anything and she left.
