Camilla and Ray drive to Lily's apartment the next morning.

"I don't understand anything your doing, bestie " Ray frowned.

"Why don't you understand, we are delivering her things back," Camilla said.

"I won't mind that, but yes. Why are we the ones doing it, the police would have done it or even her family "

"I want to see her " ...Ray sighed. "the chance was there last night but you decided to bring her for dinner with us "

"She was hungry and so was I, I could do anything to her cause I was weak myself "

Ray stopped the car and turned to Camilla, "What exactly are you doing? You supposed to stay away from her not go visit or offer her dinner. Camilla, she almost killed you and you still have the guts to go see her "

"Lily was used by Chris's mother to do all those silly things, and I don't intend to just let her go but I also don't have any motive of hurting her back "

"Those bruises on your neck say otherwise, I admit she was used but Lily was in her right mind she could have refused. That woman is crazy and dangerous as you know it " Ray let out

"My bruises will heal and remember I also hurt her too that she was bleeding when you took her away. She's dangerous but I have my way of dealing with such people.So don't worry and drive us to her place " Camilla gently tapped her friend's hand.

Ray sighed and started the car, "Anyway I wanted to ask last night but somehow forgot, did that crazy woman do that too?" he pointed at her wrists.

Camilla pulled down the sleeves of her coat, covering her wrists. "No" she answered.

"Then who, the only enemy in the room was Lily.So who did that to you, was it Rachel...but she wouldn't" Ray muttered thinking but then stiffened and he slowly said," was it, Chris?"

Camilla avoided his gaze, "Are we there yet?" she asked. Ray's smirked, "Yeah almost there," he said

He didn't ask more and drove, soon they were parking at Lily's apartment.

"Do you think she would let us in?" Ray asked pressing the doorbell.

"Let's wait & see," Camilla said. The door opened and Lily stood in front of them.

She looked worse than last night, with swollen red eyes, messed up hair, and a very pale face. Camilla instantly stepped forward grabbing the unsteady Lily.

"Are you okay?" She asked holding Lily by the arm.

Lily seemed not to fully recognize her, she looked up and frowned then looked away, "it's you, what do you want ?" she tried pulling away but Camilla didn't let go.

"We came to bring you your stuff " Ray snorted, "and here I thought you would have changed, but I guess no one can overnight "

Camilla told him to shut up and grabbed Lily firmly leading her back inside.

"Sit down," She said. Lily didn't protest this time and sat back. Camilla touched her forehead which was burning up..." you have a temperature, did you take your medication for the head injury?"

Lily shook her head, "I didn't get time to buy any after we left the hospital and I didn't have my phone to call anyone to bring me some " she weakly said.

Camilla turned to Ray and grabbed Lily's things they had bought. She sat next to her passing the bag and other things.

"Call someone now," she said. Lily's movements were slow and seemed to be painful. Camilla frowned watching her get her phone.

She tried calling her mother but didn't get through and none of her sisters picked up. She gave up, and Camilla got more worried.

"Why isn't anyone taking your calls?" she asked and Lily smirked, "You dare to ask after what you did. They can't now associate with me in fear of what will happen to them "

Ray angrily laughed, "So now it Camilla 's fault you delusionally stuck on something impossible and let Chris's mother manipulate you into doing despicable things " Lily turned away but Ray didn't back down, "Has she called you since your failure cause I know she must have found out, just think about it all she wants is to remove Camilla from her son's life and would go to anything length to do it "

"But she promised me Chris would be mine " Lily barked and Ray snickered

"You not the first she has promised that a lot have come before you but they all lost to her " Ray pointed at the silent Camilla.." but do you know why they lost... cause Chris was on her side, he hasn't wavered at all cause he loves her and only her. And no one can take her place and his mother knows that, but as you all are delusional like her she's able to manipulate you into her bending "

"Ray I think that's enough, stop it " Camilla let out as she noticed Lily start to cry. But her friend wasn't done.

"No am sorry bestie. She has to know the truth" he said "Chris's mother is evil and we all know that. She keeps lying to them about a future of having Chris which can never happen. Lot have come with that perspective, bestie you might not know all of them since by the time you had no memory of him and he had kept his distance " Ray said.

Camilla looked at him in surprise but Ray nodded.

"Yes, he used to tell me and I could not tell you cause you didn't even know he existed anymore. But like Lily they all failed to cause even when you didn't he still remembered you and would never move on ".

Camilla felt her soul hurt, had Chris gone through so much just for her?

"His mother even threatened him with his position at the company but he didn't back down and in the end she gave up. He was always depressed when we met and he would tell me how he missed you and when he was so drunk " Ray looked down hiding his sadness, "Chris would cry and call your name, saying he missed holding you in his arms and when he saw you that night as took you home. Yes I was angry but also happy that he was finally taking that step after hesitating for so long "

Ray avoided Camilla's gaze and turned to Lily who too was surprised by the revelation.

"So tell me Lily do you think you have a chance with a man who is still someone who didn't even remember him at all?She's now back in his life do you think he would even think of letting her go or even tolerate anyone who wants to separate them ?" Ray sighed, "he was drugged but was able to fight you and hide in that state. His love for her is much more strongly that all his mother's crazy schemes or your delusional obsession with him "

Lily wiped her tears, "But I love him " she cried.

"But he loves Camilla. He can't and will never love anyone else apart from her, please so hurting yourself and others just for something that will never happen " Ray declared.

"Am sorry. All I wanted was for him to see me as someone worthy his love. I tried but all he did was push me away which made me desperate so I let his mother use me in order to get him " she cried.

"Lily I don't actually know how you feel but really sorry about all this. But you have to accept that Chris will never look your way even with me out of his life. He can't love anyone else but me" Camilla held Lily's hand, "it's not that am bragging but telling you the truth ".

" Your lucky she's treating you like this. Although l think you deserve something like Samantha's punishment" Ray smirked.

Camilla frowned, "Dont bring up that name again, you know I hate it," she said, "The reason I didn't was because Lily isn't as bad as that crazy bitch was "

Lily looked at Camilla, "Am not that bad? Camilla, I tried to kill you and even literally sleep with your man "

Camilla giggled, "Yeah, but Samantha was much worse. You tried once but she tried killing me multiple times and I ended up losing my child in the process"

"You were once pregnant?" Lily asked. Camilla nodded, "with Chris's child but that was way back during our college days "

Lily moved back even more shocked and Camilla laughed.

"See what I told you, you have no chance at all against her, " Ray said."

"Anyway Samantha was bad but you. Your just confused and that made you an easy target for Mrs.Huntsman" Camilla said.

"Am sorry..." Lily murmured. Camilla held her hand and smiled, "your not a bad person circumstances made you that, so don't apologize and just move on"

"But I still need an apology " Ray snickered.

"Am sorry, am really sorry " Lily repeated. Camilla stopped her and turned to Ray, "she's sick stop bullying her "

He turned away. Camilla held Lily up, "direct me to your room, please," she said. Lily looked at her confused.

"your sick and need to rest" she turned to Ray..."Go get some medicine for her and make sure to explain exactly what happened so you are given the right ones "

Camilla started moving and Lily lead the way in silence. Ray sighed but got up and left.

Lily was covered and told to rest, Camilla went to her kitchen and made some soup with the little that was in the fridge. The soul was almost cooked when Ray returned.

He had bought the medicine and other things.

"I knew I could count on you " Camilla smiled seeing the grocery and other things he had bought.

"Am only doing that cause you asked but am still angry at her " he said sitting down.
