Chris decided to take Camilla out for dinner so that she could change the environment. Her mood swings had been getting in the way that she was getting stressed. And the wedding pressure to add to that.
"Mom, dad " she laughed when they reached their table. Chris had invited them and another familiar face was next to her father. It was his father.
She had last seen him at the company's event when Chris proposed.
He helped her get seated and then took his.
"You look lovely " her father smiled.
"Thanks Dad ".
Chris's father smiled at her and she did the same, food was bought it. They were chatting happily that which made her feel less stressed and happy. Chris's father was a charming man and that made her parents like him more, especially her father who found out they had a lot in common.
" Have some of this " Chris passed some desert to Camilla. He had been feeding her from the start not minding the glances around them.
"Your mother was more of a baby when she was having you. And her skin was pale that always worried if she was okay " Camilla's father laughed.
"What, it was your fault for always treating me like one " her mother retorted.
Camilla giggled pointing to the juice. Chris took it and bought it to her mouth.
"Chris used to be a baby too, always wanting to be pampered but now am proud to see him love his future wife this much " his father patted his son's shoulder.
"Dear, you should get married before the bump starts showing. It will ruin your dress " her mother said.
"Am lazy and too busy to start wedding preparations now. And I can't stand long meetings " Camilla frowned.
"Let's handle that, you just tell us what you want and we do the rest " Chris's father and her parents agreed.
"You can do that for us " Camilla looked at them in awe.
Her mother nodded, "Yes we can. after all, you are our baby girl and are already having a hard time with the pregnancy.
" Let Chris take care of you as we take care of the wedding"
She nodded, "That would be helpful " she was crying now.
"Oh, you made her cry, Dad "Chris grabbed the napkin and dried Camilla's tears.
His father panicked and apologized, " Am sorry I don't know what I said wrong "
Camilla laughed but her tears kept flowing, "No don't be, it's just my moods. I cry easily nowadays" she said.
They laughed amazed at how fast her moods changed.
After their dinner, Chris's father passed her a gift he had bought. "That's for my grandchild," he said.
Camilla cried again.
Chris told his father to go cause he kept making her cry. Her parents left too, Chris got her coat and helped her up.
They walked out as Jack bought the car from parking.
"CAMILLA..." someone called. They turned to a tall figure.
Camilla smiled while Chris frowned.
"Alfred," she said running to the tall handsome man.
Alfred had a full smile as he bent down hugging Camilla and sweeping her off her feet. She was laughing as she held into him.
"I missed you," she said as he placed her back on her feet.
"Missed you more ". Alfred's deep voice said.
Chris walked to them and pulled Camilla back next to his side. She looked up and met his cold gaze Alfred.
" Who might this be?" Alfred asked with a smile.
Camilla smiled as Chris seemed to be getting angry with every passing second.
