Chapter 23: Except this woman!

Ariel was speechless. Good morning? F*ck that! She needed an explanation! With the whole thing still bugging her head, she did the first thing she thought of. Her palm swept across his face in a tight slap. She slapped his face to the side.

"What are you doing here? Don't you even have manners?"

Rex was a bit surprised. No one has ever dared to come close to him without his consent not to mention slapping him? Except this woman! He looked at her for few seconds and smiled. Then he said, "I'm sorry. Didn't know that you'd be this pissed".

Ariel scoffed." Didn't know? You opened my door and waltzed in like this is your place and used my bathroom and still slept on my bed? You could have gone out when you were done! ", She yelled.

" I wanted to".

"And then? Why didn't you leave? "

" The owner of the house didn't let me. So, I decided to pay her by staying with her for a night", he ended the sentence with a smirk. He shrugged and sat up, his head leaning on the headboard. His hair was messy adding a certain charm to his masculinity. He was an attractive man in his late twenties and was at the point where woman swarmed for his touch and love. He was an attractive young man who was oozing enough male hormones. His pajamas shirt wasn't fully buttoned and Ariel could see his broad hard chest heaving up and down as he breathed. Her face felt hot again and she looked away immediately.

"Naughty guy", she said and stood. "How will you leave?"

Rex arched a brow. "The way I came in".

"No you can't".

"Why?" "My friend is here and she might see you. I don't have the strength to explain anything to her".

" But there's nothing to explain ".

" That's what you think. Or you just wait, till she leaves ".

" Ariel! Ariel! Ariel! ", Tyra's voice came from the lobby. Ariel's eyes widened as sh turned to Rex. But, she was bound to be surprised as the man wasn't even moving a limb. He just sat there and was looking at her with a look that was unfathomable. She ran to his side and pulled him but, the man didn't even bulge. Ariel looked at him wide eyed.

"What are you doing?! Get off!". She had never been so scared in her life. Tyra was already bugging her about him and now? She wouldn't even have any excuse. She saw Rex smile in mischief and couldn't comprehend. Before she could understand the situation, she was already underneath him, her legs straddling him.

What?!!! What's going on this morning?! She wanted to scream but it was just a gasp. She looked at his icy blue eyes and her heart palpitated. Just then, the door swung open and Rex's face magnified in her vision as his lips covered hers.
