When they turned around, they saw that there was a giant serpent's head that poked out of the water.

This was the monster that they had been called here to take care of.

It was the S Ranked Leviathan!

This was a monster that was touted as the ruler of the seas and was regarded as a natural disaster.

This was the monster that had made its nest in the seas of Jeju Island and had been causing a rampage on the locals, as well as the boats in the area.

Because of this, the local businesses on Jeju Island had suffered and there were cases of people being seriously injured.

Luckily, there hadn't been a report of death just yet, but it seemed like it was only a matter of time.

That was why the people of the island had been so desperate for Seul Ah to take care of this monster right away. They didn't even hesitate to use these petty methods to trick her into going.

That was because they really didn't have a choice.

It wasn't as if any of them could deal with this S Ranked Leviathan…Even the A Ranker parties that came to help couldn't do a thing against this S Ranked monsters. They could only fight off some of the A Rank monsters that wandered onto the shore and couldn't do a thing about the Leviathan that hid in the water.

But then again, even if the Leviathan came out to fight them, they would be on two different levels.

This was a S Ranked monster that could fight S Ranked hunters, they would be nothing more than cannon fodder when facing this S Ranked monster.

As for why it suddenly came out now, that was because it had felt an aura that could threaten it.

It wanted to find the source of this aura and eliminate it quickly before returning back to the sea, but it realized its mistake when it came out.

It wasn't just a single aura that was a threat to it, but rather multiple auras that were a threat to it.

And the worst part of it all was that right in the center of this group, this was an even more powerful aura that…gave it an intense sensation of death. It was almost as if…if it wanted to do anything to them, it would certainly die.

The thought of escaping quickly appeared in its mind, but it was already too late for that since the S Rankers had noticed the head popping out of the water.

Since their target had come to them, how could they let it go free?

After all, if they finished this Leviathan off quickly, they would be free to enjoy their beach vacation with Maria!

So no one wanted to waste a single second on this Leviathan.

So they all released their magic power and used their strongest attacks to attack this Leviathan all at once.

The Leviathan was terrified when it saw this.

Perhaps it would be able to face one of these S Rankers in a fight and still be able to escape even if it lost, but when facing all of these S Rankers using their strongest attacks on it all at once…

The Leviathan wanted to cry, but had no tears.

With no other choice, it could only use its ultimate ability to protect itself.

There was a bolt of lightning that suddenly fell down from the sky that landed on the head of the Leviathan. The moment that this bolt of lightning landed on the Leviathan, there was a shockwave that suddenly pushed back all of the S Rankers who were currently charging at it with their attacks.

They landed back on the beach and raised their arms to guard against the wall of wind that suddenly slammed into them.

The wind gushed forward like a tidal wave that pushed back most of the things on the beach. If it hadn't already been cleared by the government officials, there would have already been people sent flying away by the waves of wind.

As for the town near the beach, all of the people living there started preparing for a typhoon because they thought that this was what was happening. Though, they were all confused since there hadn't been a report about a typhoon today.

It was only because they were S Rankers that they were able to release their magic power to block the wind.

As for Maria, she just firmly stood there as if she wasn't affected by it at all. The hem of her clothes and not a single hair was moved by this wind.

It was as if there was no wind there at all if one didn't see the sand being blown away around her.

Anne Marie had been in a daze seeing Maria like this, so she wasn't able to react right away. But when she did react, she quickly raised her hand and created a barrier around the two of them.

As a healer and a buff specialist, this kind of magic was her specialty, so the area in the barrier was completely cut off from the roaring winds outside.

Seeing this, Maria thought that it was because of Anne Marie's barrier that she wasn't affected by the wind at all, so she said to her with a smile, "Thank you, Anne Anne."

Seeing this smile, Anne Marie's heart melted and she nodded back with a smile. But at the same time, she could also feel four cold gazes on her back.

All four of the S Rankers were filled with regret that they hadn't been the one to protect Maria and receive this smile from her. But they were also filled with motivation since they knew that the one that took down this Leviathan would be the one that would get praised by her.

So without hesitation, they gathered their magic energy and created strong barriers around themselves that would even let them act inside of this strong wind.

But to their surprise, the strong wind actually calmed down.

They had thought that this wind was the special attack of this Leviathan and that it was all that it could do, but it didn't seem to be that case.

The moment that they turned their attention back to the Leviathan, they found that there was a horn that had suddenly appeared on its head.

This Leviathan had the appearance of a giant sea snake that was close to a dragon, but it definitely didn't have this horn before.

Not to mention that there was a dangerous looking lightning that was currently surrounding that horn.

Without hesitation, they all gathered their strongest attacks once again, but there was another bolt of lightning that fell down during this process. It landed on the horn of the Leviathan and created an even more dangerous looking spark to it.

Then with a sudden roar from the Leviathan, it pointed its horn at Maria and shot out a bolt of lightning.

All four of the S Rankers were shocked to see this, but then they all shouted, "Watch out!"

Anne Marie, who had the barrier up, was shocked by this, but she found…that her barrier didn't have any effect against this lightning bolt at all. The power contained within was just too strong for her barrier to stop, so it shattered in an instant and kept flying towards Maria without slowing down.

All of the S Rankers turned immediately and gathered their energy to try and save Maria, but they could tell that it was already too late. This bolt of lightning had been too fast for them to react to and it was too fast for them to stop.

So they could only pray that there was a miracle that would stop it.

Maria on the other hand…wasn't paying attention to any of this since there was a mosquito that was currently flying around her that was bugging her.

This mosquito had been lucky enough to be caught in the barrier that Anne Marie had set up, so it had been saved from the wild winds that were outside.

As it flew around here, the mosquito could smell something delicious coming from inside of the barrier and following that scent, it found Maria.

As soon as it found Maria, it immediately tried to suck her blood.

This wasn't a special monster mosquito, but rather it was a very normal mosquito, so it didn't understand that there was a giant gap between it and Maria. So without any fear, it flew around Maria, trying to get a taste of her blood.

Maria naturally wouldn't let this mosquito suck her blood, so she started waving her hand to shoo it away.

But since it wouldn't go away, she had no choice but to go for the kill.

She focused her mind and followed the path of the mosquito before suddenly flicking her hand out at it. This was a wave that she had put quite a bit of force behind, so there was no way that the mosquito was able to react in time and dodge out of the way.

But this also used a bit of her real power…

So there was a shockwave that was created from that wave of her hand.

As for where that shockwave was aimed…

It was aimed right at the bolt of lightning that was flying at her.

That shockwave smashed into the bolt of lightning and there was no hesitation at all as it shattered it to pieces.

But the shockwave didn't stop there as it continued flying through the air, flying towards the Leviathan that had shot the bolt of lightning.
