CHAPTER FOURTEEN: FOR MY MAN

 TESSA POV 

"You heard him loud and clear Doreen, if you need any clarification, I suggest you go to him and ask, everyone heard the announcement, he said it in front of all his people!," I couldn't hide my irritation anymore.

I can say it out loud that I'm not interested in the Lycan king but I won't let his whore win over me, I'm going to be the Luna very soon, he chose me.

"Coming at me and asking me questions all because he choose me isn't the best solution for you, I will marry the Lycan king and there's nothing you can do!"

"I don't have time for all these bull shit!, don't ruin my day Doreen, I can't stop you from having the Lycan king if you want to, he will call you into his bed sooner or later!," I tried to keep my irritation out of my voice but I couldn't help feeling jealous. 

"Do you think I'm scared of you winning over me? Or taking the affection we share in his bedroom?, do you even know how much I have to give to be his number one?"

"You can never be like me and he's only making you his wife to heal himself of the curse, I also heard the rumor that you can cure him and make him feel things again, well be my guest!," 

Doreen said my thoughts like it meant nothing, I have been thinking about all she said for days now, forcing myself not to believe it.

She would say anything to break me and make me feel less but according to the Lycan king, he almost married Doreen, he must love her so much!, why is he so interested in marrying me now?.

Maybe she's saying the truth, maybe he only need me to cure him just so he can make Doreen his wife officially. I felt the deep jab of pain, my wolf whimpering in my head.

"You can say all you want to say but I'm the one he chooses now, you are the past, he told me he almost married you but stopped when the moon goddess wouldn't approve, but did you hear when he announced that he would marry me no matter what?, even if the moon goddess disapprove!" 

The memory of what happened helped boost my strength and believe again, it's the truth, Shane doesn't need to butter me up or lie , he's not scared of me or anybody, he meant it when he said he would marry me anyways.

"You can try to compare the relationship he has with me to the one he has with you, but it's not the same, I also can't figure it out now, but it's definitely not the same!," this time my voice was louder.

I also don't know why I'm so special to him but I know what we share is more deeper than whatever he has with Doreen.

"I would have been in your shoes baby girl, the moon goddess didn't pick me but she will now, I know what the elder did to put you there, I know you are cunny!," 

Doreen spat back at me, I was on my way to see Cecilia when Doreen stopped me, we had plans to go shopping g and just unwind, Shane has given his approval and my mood was very relaxed and calm until Doreen stopped me.

"Can you just let me go in peace, why are these people circling me and do you know what this act means? You are threatening me or what?," I wasn't scared but I know Doreen.

Not really. Aside from the fact that she's crazy about the Lycan king and will give her blood to give him pleasure just like the night Shane made me watch them.

The memory clouded my memory again and it caused some cringe effect in my head, I turned away from her to catch my breath, asking my wolf in my head why I'm so bothered about that night.

"I can do whatever I want to do to you dear miss Luna, you can have the title while have the man, I came here to let you know that your secret is out in the open,"

"You can keep acting like a naïve little princess who's not interested in the Lycan king, every woman want him, even the old ones. He's a hot and wealthy man, who commands power and authority! Who are you fooling!" She yelled in my face again.

My thought were everywhere. I wasn't aware that she's standing right in my face, none of my security or maid were with me and her people glaring at me weren't smiling at all.

"Look here Doreen, he's the one who wants to marry me, he's the one insisting and you said it just now that he commands, the man you love so much want another woman, which Is me so deal with it,"

"You won't be so foolish to hurt me here, right in the estate property!, I'm not your enemy and I'm also not your problem, you should ask the moon goddess why she didn't choose you!," I told her.

Trying so much not to show Doreen how scared the situation is becoming for me, of course the Lycan king will punish her but what if she hurt me before then.

"Little miss Luna if you think I will let you take my man without any fight then you must be joking!, you should ask around about me, ask the Lycan king women why he doesn't joke with me, why they have to bow and respect me!,"

She kept spitting at me, moving closer toward me, I noticed the aura demeaning into a ruthless and dangerous one, her guards circling me.

"Look, all of you listen to me. You will be dead if you hurt me, if a single scratch happens to me from you!, aren't you the Lycan king Guards? Why will you listen to Doreen,"

"I'm the Luna now, well I will be soon, our marriage date has been fixed, you can't hurt me!, be smart now!!," o screamed at the top of my voice.

It's normal to be scared, one of them was holding a gun!, and he's staring deep at me now. Doreen laughter filling my nerves with more fear

"We aren't going to kill you if you corporate little Luna, I just can't let you win without a fight, you will tell me your secret now or I will be more ruthless!, are you all

Ready?" The question wasn't for me, Doreen was asking her bandits. 

It was too late before I realized that the men surrounding me aren't the Lycan king guards, they are bandits in his guards uniform, they owe me no loyalty or respect, they will kill me if Doreen order them to.
