"Andrea, don't you want to Slow-dance with Nikolai? I'm sure if you ask Jin nicely, he'll let you borrow Him." Cyrus said.
Frowning, "Nikolai is not an object to borrow, if I want to dance with him, I'll ask Nikolai himself." Andrea replied.
"Glad to know you're not toxic." Cyrus said chuckling.
"And you? since you're so old fashioned Cyrus, are you going to ask permission to dance with Jin's sister?" Andrea asked, "First of all I'm a trans man, I'm far from traditional.
Second, I don't dance often and it's not like I can do much with my arm suspended like this." Cyrus said pointing at his arm, "Also...Seong-min looks happy dancing with Minnie." Cyrus spoke again, he smiled at Seong-min when their eyes met while she was being swayed in Minnie's arms.
But when Cyrus's gaze shifted to watching Ha-yoon who was miserably dancing with an equally miserable Joel, because Soo-Min made them do so, "Seong-min is not the girl you want to dance with." Andrea said.
"Is it that obvious? Guess I'm busted." Cyrus replied chuckling.
"Guess you and I understand each other on one thing...one sided love." Andrea said, "Yeah...one sided love is a bitch." Cyrus replied.
"Amen brother." Andrea replied back.
"You know what's the worst part of one sided love? You become kinda obsessed with the idea of the other person returning your feelings...You do some stupid stuff." Cyrus said chuckling again.
"Stupid, like what?" Andrea asked.
"Getting uncontrollably and unconventionally, jealous." Cyrus replied side-eyeing Andrea.
"Is that supposed to be a joke?" Andrea asked curiously.
"I'm physically incapable of being funny, i suck when it comes to humor, and I often struggle to make or understand a joke, so No." Cyrus replied.
"I refuse to believe you're incapable of humor, so Try me...tell me a joke." Andrea requested.
Sighing, "Ok? but I warned you man..." Cyrus said then thought real hard about a joke to tell, "Where did Napoleon keep his armies?...In his sleevies." he said.
While narrowing his eyes at Cyrus, "Goodness I didn't even feel like smiling, you looked so serious when you said it, Your joke sounded More like A scientific fact than a joke." Andrea replied.
"Ugghhh I knew it! I'm a robot!" Cyrus said grunting.
"You're fine, you don't have to be funny.
Being serious is a good quality, how do you think I handle Being Nikolai's manager?" Andrea said.
"Being serious is good for work, but lack of humor effects your social life...people dig funny." Cyrus replied.
"You may not be funny but you're sure lucky as hell.
I can only imagine how much Julian's death has affected you...How lucky can you be that Flint came back in town, and you got the chance to go head to head against him." Andrea said with amusement in his voice.
Raising an eyebrow at him, "There's nothing lucky about that.
Even though I continued living and even fell in love again, my past with Julian haunts me day and night.
I'm far from lucky." Cyrus replied.
"The real unlucky person in this whole story would be Julian.
I just feel like Julian's death was a hasty decision, his death was unnecessary." Andrea replied before sighing deeply.
His words made Cyrus's blood boil but Swallowing his anger, "Actually...Can I ask you something Andrea?" Cyrus asked.
"Sure brother, go ahead." Andrea said smiling.
"When i confronted Flint...he said something strange about Nikolai.
I've been thinking about it for a while, and honestly...I was thinking maybe you know something about it." Cyrus said.
"Flint said something about Nikolai?" Andrea questioned, "Yeah, he said people tend to die when they get too close to Nikolai...you wouldn't possible Know what he meant, would you?" Cyrus replied.
Suddenly there was Silence between the two men, As Andrea failed to provide an answer right Away.
But just then, "Oof! I'm tired!" Soo-Min spoke out loud as she approached the two seated men, "It Must've been difficult handling both Ha-yoon and Joel being idiots." Cyrus said to Soo-Min while chuckling.
"No jokes!...I can't believe they're still dancing together." Soo-Min replied sniggering, but then she turned her attention to a frowning Andrea, "Andrea sweetheart, can I have a word with you alone in the kitchen?" She asked surprising him.
"Oh...Sure?" Andrea responded, he got-up and followed Soo-Min all the way to the kitchen.
And as soon as They got inside, Soo-Min went to fetch a plate filled with the cookies Jin made earlier.
"Why are we here exactly?" Andrea asked while watching her.
"No one can see you here, you can have some cookies if you want." Soo-Min said putting the plate on the kitchen table.
"Excuse me?" Andrea was surprised, "Someone mentioned these were your favorite...I can only imagine you were too jealous of Jin to eat his cookies.
So you can have some here in the kitchen, no one would notice and if they did, I can just say I ate them...no one can suspect you and I promise I won't tell anyone you ate them." Soo-Min explained.
"That's very generous of you, but I'm not interested in eating these cookies." Andrea replied before he attempted to leave the kitchen.
But before he could step outside, He remembered everything he heard in the greenhouse.
He thought that winning Soo-Min's trust, Might be a good idea for him, "Hold on, why are you offering me cookies all of the sudden? You're really not going to tell Jin?" He asked turning to face Soo-Min.
"No! I offered you cookies because I felt bad, I know what's like to be in your place...To be so jealous of someone you'd punish yourself for it." Soo-Min replied smiling.
"You think I'm punishing myself by not eating the cookies?"
"Aren't those cookies your favorite?"
"Yes but...well...Ugh." Andrea grunted, "You're right I'm miserable...I don't want to eat them no matter how delicious they seem because Jin made them." he said.
"Oh poor you! listen, I'm sure you'll get over it, I did...took me two years, but I'm happier than ever.
And food helped me Alot! you should never deny your broken heart a good treat!" Soo-Min replied.
"You're right...I do want a cookie, but not now in front of everyone...I'll have them at home.
So, Can you hide some of them for me?" Andrea asked.
"Yes! I'll hide them for you while everyone is distracted and dancing." Soo-Min replied smiling.
Smiling back, "Thank you, that's very sweet of you." Andrea said.
Suddenly his phone began ringing, "Oh, I have to go answer this call." Andrea said leaving the kitchen.
...Meanwhile...
"Did you ask Andrea?" Radka asked, "I told him what Flint said that day, That 'people tend to die when they get too close to Nikolai' And Asked what he thinks of it.
But he didn't answer me, and then all of the sudden Soo-Min came and dragged him with her to the kitchen...For some reason he's not back." Cyrus replied.
"Soo-Min? why would she do that?" Radka asked, "I don't know...you tell me when you find out." Cyrus replied unsure.
"I'll go ask her." Radka said, "Actually I think Soo-Min doesn't like You." Cyrus replied.
surprised, "Why is that?" Radka questioned, "While we spoke, Seong-min told me that Rushil turned out to be a fan of Soo-Min's cooking channel, and the two became close while cooking.
Seong-min said that Her mother thinks Rushil can do better than you, for a wife." Cyrus replied.
"She ain't wrong...I embarrassed him and myself earlier." Radka said.
"Be careful...You'll lose your husband with this mentality." Cyrus replied.
"Let's not talk about this anymore...What do you think about Andrea just now?" Radka asked.
"You're not wrong, about suspecting him... He's definitely not normal.
he called me Lucky...That was weird." Cyrus said.
"He isn't wrong, You're unique and quite lucky, to think you were able to record that video...You have some serious good luck." Radka replied.
"I honestly thought you'll kill me if you ever saw the video, cuz I watched your son get hurt but took a video instead of helping him." Cyrus said making Radka chuckle.
"If Nikolai died, I would've killed you, and your entire family...But lucky you, he didn't!
And now You're working for me." Radka replied.
"Wow, I am lucky to work for you." Cyrus said sarcastically.
"Working for me is the best thing to ever happen to you, trust me." Radka replied, "I just realized I've been employing men very often lately!" She added chuckling again.
"I'm pretty sure Joel tried to keep my identity hidden, how did you know I was the source of the video?" Cyrus asked.
"I knew Joel wouldn't tell, he's too careful especially around my girls, So I tried my luck by having Ha-yoon followed."
"And now I'm trapped with you."
"Like I said, you're lucky!" Radka replied chuckling.
...Few minutes later...
Soo-Min returned to the kitchen after hiding some cookies for Andrea, however when she got there, Radka came almost immediately after her.
"Soo-Min! hey!" Radka greeted her, "Radka! is there something I can help you with?" Soo-Min asked.
"Have you seen Andrea?" Radka asked.
"He got a call earlier, I think he's still talking on the phone, somewhere." Soo-Min answered.
"Since he's not here I have to tell you something...First of all, I'm sorry for snooping around, it's just that I got worried when I saw you bring Andrea to the kitchen, just the two of you.
You're new here and i should warn you about him." Radka said.
"We didn't do anything, He's not my type." Soo-Min replied unamused.
"Oh no no! I didn't mean it like that...how do I say it nicely? umm...
Listen, Andrea is bad news, he's not a good guy and I suggest you stay away from him, for your safety." Radka said.
"Isn't he your son's manager?" Soo-Min asked.
"I fired him but Nikolai wouldn't accept my decision...Andrea is not as kind as he seems." Radka replied, "Soo-Min, You're clearly a nice woman, don't get mixed with him." she added.
"Are you done." Soo-Min said uninterested.
Tilting her head, "Is it me or am I sensing that you don't like me?" Radka asked.
"Maybe I'll start liking you when you stop giving Rushil a hard time." Soo-Min replied.
"Excuse me?"
"Radka, You're a thug in a dress, you can't fool me...I know the likes of you."
Radka was taken back, she didn't expect Soo-Min to say that, "We barely interacted, you can't judge me!" Radka said.
"You Had no trouble causing a scene in your own son's party, you ruined the mood for some of us, and confused the hell out of the rest.
To be able to cause such an effect, you can't be an ordinary person." Soo-Min explained, "I had all the interactions I need to judge you by my book, Radka." she added.
Sighing, "You're wrong! I think we got off on the wrong foot...and I don't want us to be enemies!
I admit it, I made a fool out of myself Earlier, and you're probably mad because I made some of them lose appetite but...I have my reasons." Radka replied.
"And what are those reasons?" Soo-Min asked.
"I can't tell you." Radka replied.
"Then leave me alone." Soo-Min replied back.
Sighing, "Soo-Min...You mean Alot to Jin, and I care about Jin enough to care about you." Radka replied, "I'm not joking when I say That Andrea is bad news." She added.
"I don't have to listen to your advice about Andrea." Soo-Min said.
"You're right, you don't have to...But if you care about Jin, or at least your daughter...you should listen." Radka replied.
She glanced one more time at Soo-Min before she left the kitchen.
"A thug in a dress warning another." Soo-Min whispered giggling.
