Cake

We spent our time talking about everything yet nothing, while Nick was telling me about his business and future plans to expand it, I was busy eating a piece of the cake I had on the tray cupping it out with the spoon and stuffing the whole thing in my mouth.

"Sir? (noticing what I just said and correcting myself as fast as possible) sorry, Nick, sorry for disrupting you while you are talking, but, can you have a taste of this cake? where did you buy it? I can swear you have a way of touching me to forgive you," I replied cheerfully adding another spoon filled with the sticky chocolate icing into my mouth.

"I love this," I mouthed.

I do not know why, but Nick's eyes were bright, filled with happiness as his eyes cringed forming happy laughing lines.

"I doubted if you would actually like it or not, as you have, I am pleased about that. Anything that will make you delighted will be a great pleasure to accompany the task just for you," he said.
