"Bring it down!" Virtya ordered. He was now standing at the floor of the valley as he peeked upward at the pulley that was letting down the loads.
The knights were around staring at each side as if they were impressed by the work of the workers but that was not it, they were here for their role of protecting the king.
A huge steel turbine blade that had huge bucket-like plates was revealed and then the workers moved to painstakingly wrap it with the rope around the hook and then they allowed the pulley to let down the unknown object that they didn't knew its purpose or function.
For all that time that Virtya had been in the blacksmithing guild, he had been working on these huge steel turbine blades and the other components that would function with it.
One would think that the steel turbine blade was too heavy but that was a lie because Virtya had worked tirelessly to ensure that this steel turbine blade weighed less. The thing that made it to stand out was the cogwheel that was attached to its hub.
Virtya made the huge bucket-like plates of the steel turbine blades to be independent and they were only attached to the hub by the use of bolts and nuts.
At last, the huge steel turbine blade touched down.
"Move it to that warehouse beside the bank of the waterfall." Virtya ordered.
As the pulley let down another huge steel turbine blade, the workers could not help but wonder what this thing would be used for. They had never seen something like that, was it a weapon or what?
"What a hell is this thing and what will it be used for?" Alexander could not help but ask in curiosity. Unlike the other people, he didn't stand on ceremony to show that he didn't knew a thing about this component.
It was not just Alexandre but everyone including Tanya and the workers were curious as what the huge fan like structure would be used for.
"However, Virtya didn't answer him right away as he stared at the steel turbine blade with a blank look. After all, this component was not easy to build and it forced Virtya to spend too much time in the blacksmithing guild as he searched for a way that he could easily make this component without a flaw because unlike the H beam steel, this turbine was needed to be flawless to ensure that it gave out maximum energy output and it lasted longer, therefore it forced Virtya to break this component further into minor components so that he could easily fabricate them one by one until the whole thing came to being.
First, the blades themselves were made independent and Virtya made them with the bucket shape to ensure the continued motion of the blades when the large volumes of water splashed into the buckets. Furthermore, the blades were plated with copper to slow down their rusting process.
The bucket blades were slightly elongated and they would be connected to the hub with the use of nuts and bolts, which will ensure that these blades could be replaced if they became damaged.
Secondly, the steel turbine blade was also going to be connected to a sprocket with the use of bolts and nuts. This sprocket had teeth that would fit into the roller chain and ensure the rotational motion
Thirdly, the other component of the steel turbine blade to be let down was the axle that would fit into the hub of the steel turbine blade on which the steel turbine blade will revolve.
The hub of the steel turbine blade was fitted with ball bearings to reduce friction and ensure that the steel turbine rotated smoothly around the axle.
All these key components were painstakingly made by Virtya and when each of the component touched down, the workers would stop to peek at what it was because these components were out of this world and the workers didn't knew what they were going to be used for since the components were not being taken to the area allocated for the cement plant but they were being taken to the small wooden warehouse that was erected at the Eastern side of the waterfall.
