However, suddenly all the maids smiled listening to her words, and started going outside the room in a row.

Emma was surprised, and her eyes scanned the room until they met the gaze of David, who stood at the door with a quizzical expression.

Did he go to the office? Right?

I uttered so much nonsense now how will I face him??

Panic surged through Emma's veins as she frantically tried to recall if he had gone to the office today.

A torrent of questions flooded her mind.

How would she face him, would he think her too bold? Or too straightforward?

Emma's heart raced with trepidation, fearing the potential repercussions of her unguarded words.

This made maids and servants go into deep gossip, some of them even decided to hear what was going on in the room through the door.

"I knew that my mom had sent some maids in charge of us, so I decided to come and help you, just do a little drama of being a lovey-dovey couple," David replied in a cold tone without any expression.
