61 : Mysterious Call…

Gordon slowly woke up from his dreams. Next to him, the bed was empty and cold. But he could hear Zaizen's voice in the living room.

He joined the man who was frowning while talking to someone over the phone.

Gordon decided to pour himself a glass of orange juice while staring at the alpha.

Zaizen was just wearing a pants. He was shirtless, showing off his abs and the hickeys Gordon had left on his shoulder and neck.

Just thinking about last night and this morning made Gordon blush.

Gordon frowned. He was hoping Haru would be ok. With his pregnancy, this kind of stress wasn't good for him.

" - If you're okay, can you dress up quickly so you and Flore can stay with Haru while the others and me we tried to block the news and find a solution ?" Zaizen asked.

" - Of course !"

Before Gordon could go to the bathroom, Zaizen gently pulled him in his arms.

" - You know you're sexy when you listen to me," he whispered in Gordon's ear.

" - I thought you like when I'm mean to you," Gordon joked softly as he wrapped his arms around Zaizen's neck.

The alpha chuckled and let his huges hands cupped the beta's soft ass cheeks.

The omega seemed anxious more than ever.

Actually being outed like Akihito's mate wasn't the problem, Haru was afraid of the culprit. It could be Silas ! But the man wasn't the type to use this kind of method. Plus talking about Haru was like saying out loud that the Omega was his fated pair.

Haru was thinking about all the men he met during his times at Silas' house. All these faces he wanted to forget came back to him too violently.

" - Breath," he heard Gordon's gentle voice .

When he looked next to him, the beta man was holding his hand carefully and smiling to him. Flore was staring at him as if he was about to cry.

" - Wh-what happened ?" Haru asked breathless as if he just ran a marathon.

" - You didn't notice but you started to hyperventilate." Gordon said. " But don't worry, you came back to us before you passed out and you heard me,"

" - Thank you…. I'm sorry," Haru said.

Flore sat next to him and hugged him.

" - Why are you sorry idiot ?! These people are the bad one ! You did nothing wrong."

" - For the time being, you should take a rest. I know it will be difficult for you to sleep, but staying there and stressing about the situation will be worse for the baby and you." Gordon explained.

" - I don't want to sleep without Aki… I don't feel good," Haru said softly.

" - Just rest your eyes then. We will be next to you," Gordon said.

Haru nodded and lay down. Flore helped him by placing his head on his thighs and covered him with a thin blanket. Slowly, the omega started to doze off on Flore's voice, while the latter was talking with Gordon.

He eventually fell asleep.

" - It could be anyone !" Akihito sighed, frustrated.

" - I narrowed down people who are close to your family and would have a grudge against you," Zaizen said. " But you know… possibilities are big. Many people wants to collaborate with the Ogata or put them down."

" - It could be someone who hate Haru," Thomas suggested.

Akihito's hold his breath.

" - Silas maybe ?" Thomas continued.

Akihito sighed before he shook his head.

" - This man is awful in many ways but his status is too important for him." he explained then. " We should dig around him."

" - You mean… " Thomas said without completed his phrase.

" - Let's search around Angela too," Zaizen intervened. " Last time I went to the Club to meet Gisele, she was out. Gisele said that she seemed to be dating someone. There's no rule in the club saying they can't have a lover."

" - Keep an eye on her too then," Akihito said. " I can't stay longer. Haru must be anxious."

" - Just go, we will call you if we found anything." Thomas said.

Akihito didn't waste more time and jumped inside his car.

While he was driving, he received a call from an unknown number on his personal phone. Not many people were aware of his personal phone number so he decided to take the call.

[ - Mr Ogata ? ] a deep voice sounded.

Akihito frowned.

[ - I might be able to help you about the news. Let's meet.]

" - Do you think I will believe you so easily !? And who the fuck are you !???"

[ * a chuckle * - I know who spread Mr Fierce's pictures.]

Akihito's hands tightened around the wheel. This man knew about Haru.

[ - I'm actually in a coffee shop near your office. Meet me there.]

Akihito couldn't said anything before the man hang up.

There was something fishy going on. But nonetheless, he turned back.
