It doesn't matter what risks I would take to get me out of your hell!” she yelled. “Hell?” he scoffed. “You're in the palms of my mercy, without it, I would've buried you underground once weddings bells started ringing. Know your place little Avie. I will bind you here, inside my threshold until you would find it for yourself that once you step into my abode, you can never leave. Not ever.” He tossed her to the floor and closed the door shut, Avyanna looked intimidated by all of this. Will The Law Let Her?

Avyanna was speechless, she could not answer. She holds no proficiency to answer. She stroked her hair and softly answered, "Only your mother could answer that, Nafeli."

She pulled her into an embrace and caressed her back as she whispered, "Let's return to slumber, Nafeli, let's let our dreams eat our despair."

The moon slowly emerged from the dark clouds that covered it during the night. Brightly, it finally shone below the ground. Time passes as the sun met the moon from the other side and now sol emerged in the skies and the luna has now been gone from the atmosphere for the day starts anew.

Avyanna woke up once again with no sign of the young child beside her.

Instantly, she panicked and sprung up from the bed, rushing out of the room and then down the stairs, she found a pleasant sight to see.

"Hey, don't do that, you might burn it!"

"What the hell, kid? How dare you order me around?"

"Don't you want to impress, Mama Yanna? Then start following what I say."

"Mama Yanna, my ass."

"You're bitter cause she likes me more than you, do you?"

"What did you just say?"

"You deaf?"

"If it weren't for Avie, I would've not accepted you to sleep here. You should be glad I was convinced enough cause my wife is merciful enough. Tsk. Drama kid."

"What'd you say?"

"You deaf?" he snickered.

Avyanna slowly peeked at the kitchen to witness both glaring at each other, wishing not to break the silence, Avyanna failed as Myrto spoke behind her, "Mrs. Thaddeus, good morning." he slightly bowed.

His hands were behind his back as he watched over the two who were on the kitchen counter.

The two immediately swerved their heads in her direction and moved away from each other.

Narcester walked towards the table and took a mug of coffee as he awkwardly drank it, Nafeli meanwhile, washed her hands roughly trying to remove the batter that was stuck to her fingers.

"G-Good morning, Myrto," Avyanna responded.

"The two have been arguing for a while now just to make breakfast just to please you," he whispered close to her ear.

Narcester swiftly glared at Myrto as he mouthed the words "distance" to him.

Myrto immediately stepped three times backward and feigned a cough. Avyanna looked at both of them with confusion, and shortly after, Narcester decided to break the silence as he gave her a warm smile.

"Good morning, my Avie."

Avyanna slowly approached the table and sat down on the chair. She flashed a smile and greeted back, "Good morning."

Nafeli after getting her hands watched ran towards her and hugged her, Avyanna was rather surprised, gently, she wrapped her hands around the young child. Nafeli looked up at Narcester briefly and snickered.

Narcester scowled and forcefully mimicked coughing.

"Well, Avie, glad that you are now awake…" he turned around and slowly, took out something from the pan and presented her with a stack of pancakes on a plate.

"Here, I cooked for you," he smiled.

"Mhm. You did? Yeah." Nafeli said, sounding as if she was doubting.

"Shut up, kid."

Avyanna smiled at them as she took a bite from a pancake, Narcester and Nafeli gawked at her waiting for the comment about the cooking they poured effort into.

Nafeli closely peered at her as she fully consumed the pancake. Immediately, Narcester went to get a glass and poured water on it. He gave it to her as he asked, "How was it?"

Avyanna didn't give them any reaction traced on her face, she just reached out for another from the plate as slowly she consumed it all. Once she found none left, she looked at him and said, "Is this all?"

Narcester raised his brows, after so, he chuckled softly and approached her. Avyanna was baffled, slowly, he lifted his hands as she jolted and closed her eyes shut. To her surprise, she felt gentle fingers run through her hair, lifting her head, she saw this glistening beam meeting her.

"My, my, how cute."

Avyanna looked at her, emotion was nowhere to be seen on her countenance. Narcester blinked twice to confirm what he saw as his thoughts surged. 'Ah, this is what interested me most in her.'

Shortly, she smiled and moved away from him as she swerved her feet to a turn and went her way to approach the stairs. Her footsteps made tiny echoes across the house every time her foot ascended as she lifted them and landed them down each staircase.

As she fully ascended upstairs, Narcester snickered and spoke, "Aight, we're making more for my queen."

With a smile on his face, Narcester took a bag of flour from a small cupboard below the kitchen counter and started to mix the ingredients once again for a better.

Nafeli looked at him as his smile continued to widen, underneath her voice, Nafeli whispered, "Wife addict."

Slowly, she walked away as this subtle yet deep voice approached her ears. "Where are you going?"

"What? You already know how to do that alone, and that's your wife."

Mrs. Stawarski, who was looking through the glass window from the garden, witnessing this event between the two, couldn't help but laugh to herself as she whispered. "Wish this could've happened before."

Mrs. Stawarski started to once again continue to trim the excessing leaves of the little flowering trees that grow in the garden. Ms. Aetos stood behind her, wordless but her eyes told of something. It was visible deep in her eyes that she knew what the old gardener meant.

Slowly, she stepped away and moved backward, slowly approaching the back door by the kitchen.

Avyanna was scrolling through her phone, looking through the news once again by the terrace of her room. The gentle breeze softly touched her face as it slowly had gotten chilly.

The gray clouds slowly approach, it is about to rain.

Avyanna who was scrolling through had found herself glory in the news that speaks of her.

[Avyanna Klein Thaddeus, Narcester Vyor Thaddeus' wife inherited the Resort area owned by the Thaddeus family for years and is now prospering well under her care]

A soft smile slowly formed on her countenance. As she clicked on it, hundreds and thousands of comments popped out praising her.

Dillon: Mrs. Thaddeus can have potential.

Beatrice: Now even the wife is entering the business industry, I heard she's a shareholder for Thaddeus Studios too.

Slowly, the door creaked as Nafeli peeked at her, in a short while, Nafeli opened the door and gently shut it to slowly approach her.

Nafeli walked towards her with her hand behind her back as she spoke her name in a sweet voice, "Mama Yanna."

Avyanna jolted as she slowly swerved and met eyes with the young child.

She softly gave her a grin and spoke sweetly, "Nafeli…"

She slid her phone into the side pockets of her tights and walked toward her. "What are you doing here? I thought you were cooking with Narcester."

Nafeli scowled as she spoke, "He can do it on his own…"

Slowly, she brightened a smile and cheered up, "...after all, I wanna stick with you, Mama Yanna.

Avyanna giggled softly as she hugged her.

"So, how are you now?"

"Well, still, my supposed mother never acknowledged so I'm still upset. But I shall not care, even though my mother doesn't, I still have you to acknowledge me, right?"

Her eyes glistened towards her and gave a short reply, "Of course, I would, Nafeli."

"I will stand to be your mother when your mother can't."

"Mama Yanna, if you can adopt me, will you?"

Avyanna was at a loss for words but, what does she know? If she adopted this kid, will she be able to win in court? She desired to, but will the law let her?
