Bride of Thaddeus

Bride of Thaddeus Avyanna Klein has found herself bound into an arranged marriage with the century's tycoon, Narcester Thaddeus. Even though she was defiant at first, she can't seem to take off the feeling of responsibility that runs down her conscience. Agreeing with the forceful idea, she decided on divorcing him after three years once Klein Entertainment is saved from bankruptcy. That certain idea had changed her life forever when Narcester Thaddeus knew about that one resolve she placed herself into. Excerpt; “I'm forced into this marriage, Narcester Thaddeus. It doesn't matter what risks I would take to get me out of your hell!” she yelled. “Hell?” he scoffed. “You're in the palms of my mercy, without it, I would've buried you underground once weddings bells started ringing. Know your place little Avie. I will bind you here, inside my threshold until you would find it for yourself that once you step into my abode, you can never leave. Not ever.” He tossed her to the floor and closed the door shut, Avyanna looked intimidated by all of this. 'I'm not one to just sit around, I would do everything accordingly to my extent just to take my name out of yours.' Amidst all the fiery quarrels, he wanted her to stay, but what can he do when she wanted to leave? There's always room to give it a try! Development will move forward like the chapters. His Voice

"Don't play dumb with me, you wench!" he yelled. Truthfully, she doesn't really know what he meant, nor was she unaware of what fault she committed. But then time passed as it all dawned on her.

Ah, yes, the cameras in the Thaddeus building yesterday. The eye that promulgated on her, quivered her nerves and screened her on film, which must've triggered her father's anger.

"I didn't mean anything!" she replied, trying to suppress the tears that are about to fall from her eyes. His eyes widened with fuming anger towards her, he yanked her hair, and his dark glare made her quiver.

Ah, yes, this is what she grew up into. Just a little moment out of the source of agony doesn't mean she will be able to get out of the chains she's bound into.

"How dare you yell back at me, you brat!" he kicked her in the stomach as she fell to the ground, squeezing her stomach as she pained.

Tears started to fall from her eyes, how could it end like this? She gritted her teeth in pain and shut her eyes. 'Suppress, suppress.' Those were the very words her mother would tell her back then when she would be angered, moreso, pained.

Her father continuously kicked her, it bruised her skin with the marks of his shoes and consecutive kicks followed one after the other. Avyanna grunted in so much pain that she can't just stand it no more, but those echoing voices that judged and manipulated her roamed around her mind.

'You're a good daughter when you don't fight back.'

'You're the best daughter when you don't talk back.'

'Oh, your eyes came from your mother very much! That evil, arrogant and hot-headed attitude of yours came from her! No wonder you're as trashy as she is.'

Right, not only did the people do so, not only did Lanxter hurt her but even her mother's sister was shooting painful arrows at her words. How she hated her mother, how she hated her, how they ruined her family.

If change was made for those in need, is she not one of the needy?

"You piece of trash!" Lanxter yelled. Her tears continuously flowed down her cheeks, suppressing the pain she felt in her hurting.

Her father walked away, yelling and sighing deeply, trying to release his anger. Avyanna got herself up to the floor as Margaret came to aid her. Her arms weakened and heavy traces of bruises were left on her arms, waist, legs, and face.

Margaret applied an ice pack on her bruises, Avyanna calmed herself from all the rumbling noises that went on in her head. All the happiness she had in the freedom she got herself in just a day was shattered.

Margaret advised her to return before Lanxter would try to beat her up again, Avyanna was antsy of course. All bruised and shameful, she can't just go into Narcester's mansion looking as she was.

"Avie, you have to at least return to Mr. Thaddeus's home, you're his wife. What will people say? They already raised suspicion since your marriage to him was sudden. Don't ruin your image more, Avie." Margaret said with a voice that calmed her.

She sighed heavily, Avyanna believed it was the right decision, she covered her face with a mask, at least trying to hide the fact she's been beaten. She coated herself with long clothes to hide the fact that she's been shaming her father for her actions.

She entered the gate, trying her best not to make the slightest sound around the afternoon, after leaving her nanny's house. The gate creaked a sound, she looked around wary, menacing if ever someone would hear the noise. They crept inside slowly, taking slow steps consecutively.

"Who are you hiding for?" a voice crept down her back, she slowly turned to Narcester, he was wearing a tuxedo over his shirt, his hands on his pocket as he stood still in front of her.

It seemed pretty unusual for Narcester to even see Avyanna wear such eccentric outfits, Myrto was right behind his back, analyzing the situation. Narcester walked in close to her, he held her chin up, and with a close look, he saw her eyes which had gotten red and sullen from crying. He immediately scowled.

"What happened to your eyes? Did you cry?" he said to her with a glare. Her hands shivered, what if he sees her with all these bruises she attained? Will he still think of her as his wife, one at that pretty wife?

"I...I rubbed them." She lied. Narcester fiercely creased his forehead, "Then why are you wearing a mask?"

"I...got sick..."

"With just a few hours you got sick? After returning from your father's home? You should've shown symptoms early, but you were jumping around and ignored me without telling me where you were going. Now you're sick?" he said, lifting her face and narrowing the same between her faces.

"Yeah, i-it's quite sudden, I can't believe it...myself." she stammered, her fumbled words weren't enough to make Narcester believe her, how could he?

She pointed towards the entrance of his mansion, "C-Can I get in now? I need a rest." she shrugged her shoulders. He stared intently at her orbs. She tried standing up, he pushed her shoulder back down as she yelled at the pain, "Ouch!"

Narcester's eyes widened, he pulled her long sweater, her shoulders were bruised, somehow bleeding.

"What happened with this?!" his eyes were wide open, and his angered expression sent shivers worst she could've felt. He noticed the bruises even on her arms, he fumed with anger in an instance.

Those devilish eyes looked at her, hell is about to break.

"It hurts! Don't touch it." her eyes started to water, she's been bearing the pain for quite a while now. He slowly brushed his hands away from her arms, he touched her face and cupped it with his hands, and looked at her watery eyes.

He had eyes that didn't glisten, maddened and guilt ravaged his skin like a monster that was to eat him whole. He gently caressed her face with his thumb and brushed her hair that covered her face, he pecked her nose and his gentle eyes laid upon her.

"If only I had been responsible and come with you. My Avie, I'll take care of you. You're mine. Let no man hurt you." he said and kissed her forehead. She didn't even know that one could care for her so tenderly as he could.

He fixed his suit and stood up, he reached his hand out to her, "Here, I'll help you."
