Calm Before The Storm
Three days later.
"Why do I feel like the third wheel?" Noah thinks while noticing Belen and Everest going home together. While he, on the other hand, is watching them from the control room through the surveillance.
"I'd be lying to myself if I said I'm not worried, but." He bites his lower lip, "Belen has been treating me the same. There is nothing unusual about her treatment against me since that night. Instead." He raises a brow with doubt, "she's been spending more time with Everest, and when I enter the office, those two suddenly go quiet. It's as if they have some kind of inside joke or something."
His shoulders slump in defeat, "I don't know, but since then, I haven't been able to properly talk to her about anything other than work…. I'll try to finish up quickly right now so I can see her. Tonight, hopefully before she falls asleep."

Meanwhile, Belen is in the kitchen in her mansion when Everest hands her a bowl, "for popcorn!" he excitedly smiles.
