The Greens

Today was a special day for Daniel, he had just graduated from university with his Mechanical engineering degree at the top of the class. Daniel's mother, father and sister who had also graduated a month ago were there to congratulate him. But there was an argument happening between the brother and sister at the moment.

"Danny which big company are you going to apply to? I am sure there is no company that would say no to you."

It was a fair question that Jessica Miranda Green had asked her brother, her and Daniel were twins and very talented when it came to studies, she had just gotten her degree in business studies a month ago because the graduation of the two occupations did not happen at the same time. She had also graduated at the top of the class, and she did not waste any time to apply to the big business companies to start making money.

"I think I am going to take a break from all the studies, I need to go finish some of the anime that I could not watch this year. It is not just anime, there is web novels and web comics as well."

"Jessie let your brother do what he wants, he has worked very hard to get number one in his class."

Their mother would usually be very angry at her otaku son if was still doing his studies and actually said what he said out loud. Their mother, Annabel Rachel Green, is a house wife. She has been one ever since she married her husband, and she wanted her two children to have the best that one can have in their lives. That is the reason she was always strict with her son who could be considered a genius but spent more time on the internet.

"Thank you… Mother."

There was an awkward silence after Daniel thanked his mother for her support, he too was surprised.

"Okay that is enough about that, son I am proud of you, even though neither you or your sister became accountants, I am proud to have good children who did not disappoint their father. We are going out for dinner to celebrate, I have been waiting for a long time for this."

Their father has always been proud of his two children, he'd always hoped that one of them would follow his path and become an accountant, at least Jessica was in the business side of things. James Harvey Green could be considered a little genius, but it was not enough to put him in the top of the mountain when it came to accountancy in his company, he wanted one of his children to pass him and do what he could not do.

Daniel and the Greens went out to dinner that night, Daniel had to drive the car back to the house, that was because everyone in the Greens family drank alcohol that night were not fit to drive. Daniel had been chosen by a Rock Paper Scissors game which he'd lost, because of that he did not get to drink alcohol in the day of his graduation. At lot of things were going through his mind as he drove in New York's busy streets, but most of the things were inline with the things he enjoyed the most, anime, comics and novels.

Daniel had a powerful brain, even more powerful than his sister, the only one who knew of this was his sister who could was also a genius. But the fact was that there was nothing that Daniel could not learn and have the ability to innovate it, he just to had choose one field to focus on.

But currently he was not thinking of innovating the field of mechanical engineering, he was going to go home and watch and read for enjoyment, you could be surprised when how fast someone who has a slightly powerful brain can go through things like reading.
