The Grudge

Once I got Juno back up to the apartment, she took a few steps toward the couch then stopped in her tracks. “Gabs, why is there a gun on the floor?”

I locked the bolt, and moved over toward the gun with a heavy sigh. “It has been a busy past couple weeks, Jun.” I picked up the gun and looked at it to make sure the safety was as though I was suddenly an expert. I knew better. “I’m going to put this away and see if Hikaru made it back. They went to check in with the pack to try to find out where you were. And I haven’t seen them since.”

I made my way into my room, but it was empty. I called out to Juno, "I'm going to drop you off at your dad's then head off to find Hikaru. Grab what you need."
