Elena's Pov.

I recoiled from the sunlight pouring in from the open windows, a soft breeze was kissing my face from the ocean beyond. I opened my eyes and yawned, stretching my arms, then fell back on the bed and closed my eyes.

I slept for a long while, and when I woke up and checked the time, it was afternoon. I scrambled out of bed and went into the bathroom to do my business, a tad more quickly than usual. Then I left the room after spying myself in the mirror, my hair was tied back in a loose ponytail and I had my joggers and a white tee on. I descended the stairs looking around for Lorenzo and finding nothing, I decided to go down to the beach, so I changed into a long gown and carried a hat with me, armed with two towels and champagne I went out, clutching my phone in one hand and the basket that contained the champagne and glasses.
