Aliana don't know the reason behind it but she can feel that it annoys him to see them, Alaina and Leo, together. Hence, even as they haven't actually kissed yet, she made it sound like make out sessions were pretty big and regular in their relationship. 

Where Ivar had annoyance in his tone, it turned to something far worse, "Oh really, then where was your so called amazing boyfriend when you were dying out there in the cold night? Where is he now when you've been gone since last night and he hasn't come to find you?" 

"Are you blind? Look at the weather outside, how can anyone find anyone when they can't even see past five feet from themselves." Alaina argued back putting her plate on the ground.
