It had been a few days since the rain incident. As instructed, Lily went back to attending the classes Asher held in his home. She did every task, every assignment, anything she needed to uplift her fallen scores. When classes were over, she returned to her room, only stepping out when she needed to have dinner. Most times, she requested dinner be brought to her room in the bid to avoid Asher at the table.
To uphold his side of his promise, Asher did not treat Lily any different than he treated the rest of his students. Which meant, he didn't send her on absurd errands, single her out of the crowd, or pay her any form of extra attention, whether good or bad. When classes were over, he said nothing to her just as she said nothing to him. He would almost not see her for the rest of the day until dinner time. When they did run into each other then, they ate in utter silence.
