A tiny piece of the giant's body, about the size of one of my chubby fingers. TheSoul consumed it, leaving behind an unnoticeable dent in his flesh.
That was enough.

Snow White, also known as the anomalous Eira, sighed in satisfaction. Her strength had gone up and to such an exaggerated degree.
Directly leaping from having the strength of an otherworldly cow to an otherworldly planet-splitting giant, Snow pumped her fists in celebration.
'I really have hope! Hope for the future!'
The system notification disappeared soon after. The squirming, gigantic captive caught her eye.
'Right. This guy. I should deal with him first.'
She recalled the hungry and illusory aura of TheSoul.
'This is how you use it?'
Copying her prior activation of the all-consuming power, Snow White took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. A honey-golden haze escaped her open mouth, drifting wistfully through the air.
A small amount in comparison, but a success nonetheless.
She pumped her fists again. Then, she took a deep breath.
<Consume>
From an outsider's perspective, the honey-golden haze swallowed the giant in an instant. When the mist dispersed, only Snow remained. TheRefuge shrunk to accommodate the change; its large size turned unnecessary with the giant gone.
With the digestion of the giant came foreign memories. She organized them in her head and found the task easier than expected.
...
Cultivation. Sect. Sage. Chaos. Mortals. Immortals. Dao. Cultivation. Power. Opportunities. Dharmic Powers. Cultivation. Bottleneck. Calamity. Danger. Cultivation. Treasures. Years. Billions of years.
...
'Are these the giant's memories?' Snow White rightfully thought.
A distinct, metallic voice answered her, accompanied by the appearance of bluish text.
[Affirmative]
[Not only his memories, but every part of the giant's being had been digested by the host]
'I see.' Snow thought about the giant and his experiences.
Before long, her eyes trailed off to the void outside, chock-full of exalted cultivators bombarding TheRefuge.
Millions upon billions of attacks rained down on TheRefuge, illuminating the dark void with dazzling lights.
'The Chaos is crazy.' Snow sighed, a puff of honey-golden mist escaping her lips.
Danger filled the depths of the Chaos. The various lifeforms thrived off of perilous encounters, finding opportunities one after another in pursuit of their own goals. The giant was one of them, Snow discovered.
The only way to reach the peak of strength is to explore the perilous Chaos.
Cultivation brought about strength. But cultivation on its lonesome cannot bring about supremacy.
Snow pursed her lips. She realized that she was just another opportunity that everyone sought.
According to the giant's memories, her killer would receive great Karma and Providence, increasing their cultivation and innate potential. Her status became that of super steroids or something similar.
It pissed her off, but she didn't complain. She even understood them a little.
With the looming threat of becoming Pico, It'd be rather them than her. Becoming Pico is a fate worse than death.
Snow involuntarily shuddered at the thought.
.
*Babble* (It's a good thing that seemingly everyone wants me dead. Or is that a bad thing? Anyway, I won't feel too bad about this...) She used one of the System Functions in her arsenal.

[Omniscient Scan]
----------
The statuses of the billions of myriad lifeforms around her didn't emerge as a wall of notification windows. Instead, the incomprehensibly vast information went straight to her mind.
Compared to the memories worth hundreds of millions of years, Snow sorted the statuses from highest to lowest with comparatively less effort.
'A high INT is pretty useful, huh.'
'System, find this individual with the highest stats.'
The System conjured a detailed map of the nearby area, spanning the lengths of multiple galaxies. On the map, a blinking and hovering yellow marker, shaped like a droplet, materialized.
Snow remembered what it represented and turned her head to the side.
Her sharp eyes found their target.
An inestimable distance away stood a creature of epic proportions. Treasures in the form of orbiting galaxies crowned their fearsome, formless head. They possessed a translucent body that glimmered with mellow and dazzling lights—a universe breathed to life.
The tip of their fingers released deadly beams that carried the depth of the Great Dao.
TheRefuge protected Snow effortlessly, as with every other attack aimed her way. She took advantage of this and parted her lips.
<Consume>
TheSoul escaped TheRefuge. It collided with the incoming attacks, dispersing them inside the honey-golden haze.
No, TheSoul consumed them.

A small part of the void, illuminated by the dazzling, myriad colors of the lifeforms of the Chaos, became tainted with honey-golden mist.
As much as the Chaos had Snow in its hungry eyes, so did she. To her, this was an unmissable opportunity presenting itself.
The quickest path to strength lay before her.
'Good grief. Is this what people call "God's plan?"' she jokingly mused.
Meanwhile, TheSoul continued to advance unimpeded. It had consumed billions of attacks, followed by the millions of unfortunate cultivators too close to react.
More notifications materialized, accompanying the surge of unfamiliar memories.

"We must work together! Stop her!"
An authoritative voice infused with vehement power traveled throughout the Chaos. Immediately, barriers, seals, arrays, and formations, encompassed the encroaching haze.
They piled atop one another without reprieve until the scenery within turned murky and indistinct.
The collective powers of the Chaotic Lifeforms formed a nigh-indestructible barrier, trapping Snow and TheSoul inside.
"Yes! If we cannot kill her, then seal her off! Send her to the dangerous blank domain!"
For a long few seconds, the Chaos rejoiced.
Despite the barrier in-between, Snow heard and understood their loud cheering. She fell into confusion.
"TheSoul is eating away at their barrier, though." she said.
Snow watched as TheSoul approached the outer layers. The barrier failed to impede it as the honey-golden haze never slowed, acting as if the walls made of many kinds of energy were never there.
"But it is pretty slow. No, it's pretty fast already. It's just that those people outside are somewhat faster."
She raised her baby hand, muttering, "I'm sick of people keeping me prisoner."
Slowly, her little hand performed a sweeping motion.
<Annihilate>
"W—What?! The seals have disappeared!"
Billions of panicked shouting resounded throughout the Chaos, melding into one cry of horror.
The barrier, formed by the countless Chaotic Lifeforms, ceased to exist.
Without the barrier, Snow can finally see the other side, her eyes widening in response.
"Run away from that monster!"
*Babbleee!* (No! Don't run away! I can't eat you if you run away!)
Perhaps it was because baby language was beyond their understanding or the fact that Snow was viewed in a horrendously negative light, but no one stopped running with their tails between their legs.
They didn't want to get caught in her deadly haze or menacing gaze.
Even her target, the universe-like figure, had frantically fled.
*Babble!* (Fine! I'll come to you!)
She took a solitary step forward, traveling a distance longer than the observable universe with one step.
<Reign>
Space bent according to her will, directly placing Snow beside her target. Frowning, the deep breath she held inside broke free, releasing a thick, honey-golden haze.
"Spare me—" the galaxy-like figure froze under her frightening gaze, their bellowing words caught in their metaphysical throat.
<Consume>
The haze drowned the universe-like figure in a heartbeat. Energy surged through Snow White's newborn body.
The System confirmed that it was no illusion.

Han Jue had long lost his composure.
'She got stronger! Again!'
'Instantly killing a Great Dao Supreme in less than 10 minutes after she was born!'
He pinched his fingers to deduce. Once again, he failed to gleam anything from the anomalous Eira.
It brought a thunderous headache to descend upon his head, scrunching his devilishly handsome face into a frown.
'She's dangerous...' Han Jue thought. 'But as long as I remain inside my Dao Field, no one can spy on me, much less break in. Not even the Ninth Chaos can threaten me here.'
He closed his eyes and activated the simulation trial, a function of the System, and browsed the individuals listed in it.
'I must make sure that this anomaly doesn't have any hidden surprises. I'll come out of the Dao Field if I can insta-kill her...'
Han Jue planned on fighting her in a simulated battle, allowing him to prepare to fight the real thing.
...
(Chaotic Consciousness]
(Formless Transcendent Deity]
(Ninth Chaos]
(??? — Eira]
Han Jue found her at the very end of the list.
Before challenging Eira to a simulated fight, he first challenged the Formless Transcendent Deity, a Dao Creator above the Great Dao Supreme realm like himself, to warm up.
He challenged a thousand Formless Transcendent Deities in one go.
Instant kill!
Five thousand Formless Transcendent Deities.
Ez.
Twenty thousand!
...
Doable.
Han Jue stopped, knowing that he's reached his limits. Satisfaction filled him to the core.
'Apart from the Ninth Chaos, I can easily kill the other Dao Creators!'
'This is what cultivation is all about!'
Without wasting any more time, he challenged Eira.
Soon, Han Jue appeared in the simulation space. He stood before a floating newborn baby.
Asleep, she listlessly drifted through the air while wearing a comfortable, cozy expression. Tufts of thin white hair framed her angelic sleeping face. Eira remained curled in a fetal position, lost in comfort, unaware of the battle about to begin.
Han Jue saw this.
'...'
...
...
...
"Cute..." he muttered in a daze before being surprised.
"When did she... for how long was I...!?" he said as he checked the time.
"It's been minutes...!"
Han Jue hesitated no longer, afraid of falling into another deep trance.
"She's more dangerous than I thought!"
Seven blades made out of seven-colored lights emerged from within his body. Their mere presence corroded the blank simulation.
They were responsible for killing twenty thousand Dao Creators. Only five Dao Creators existed in the real world, so twenty thousand is nothing to scoff at.
Seven divine blades of destruction assaulted Eira in quick succession. She didn't evade in her sleep or conjure TheRefuge, simply staying still and serene.
Han Jue drove his gaze away.
With a whoosh, the lights passed through Eira. And again. And again.
'No resistance... that's good.' Han Jue mused in one moment and frowned in the next.
'She offered no resistance. This version of the anomaly slept through the entire simulation.'
'How pointless. But I did learn not to look directly at her.'
'Is it a mystical power? Or her natural appearance?'
'Either one would be equally terrible.'
Han Jue waited for the simulation trial to end, hoping to start another. He would wake Eira up to start an actual battle.
...
It didn't. The simulation never ended.
He shifted his gaze back, expecting no trace of Eira to remain.
The Ultimate Origin Soul Oblivion could penetrate all the powers of rules and array formations, courtesy of its extreme destructive power.
They, the seven light blades, moved independently, unrelenting in their mission to destroy the enemy even without Han Jue's interference.
Without the Ninth Chaos, a thought is all it would take to destroy the Chaos.
But she remained. Like a true anomaly.
Han Jue watched the light blades dance a deadly rhythm. In the middle of it, the anomaly continued to sleep unawares.
He couldn't help but stare at the fantastical, inconceivable sight. It was then.
Two pairs of eyes met.
Eira had opened her eyes, revealing not honey-golden pupils but eyes emitting a cold, icy chill. The newborn seemed possessed by a lifeless machine, puppet-like and unfeeling.
"Eira" mechanically opened and shut her mouth, yet Han Jue heard no sound.
Instead, a line of bluish text appeared above her head.

Without any time to react, the simulation trial shattered.

Snow was left all alone. None of the Chaotic Lifeforms dared come close to her, no matter their cultivation.
And really, she didn't need to give chase. Their strength was inferior to hers, now that she digested someone at the top of the food chain.
'So this is the peak of the Great Dao Supreme realm that everyone wishes to reach...'
'The title is too xianxia for my taste... all of them are...'
Amidst her bout of criticism, the System sent a notification that she had never received before.
---------------
[Notice]
[Foreign System Detected]
----------
She raised her brow.
'Foreign system? Then there must be a user. Lucky guy, getting a system in a cultivation world. They should be fairly op...'
Realization hit her face.
'A system... if there's a system... there's a creator.' She suppressed the anger in her heart. The appearance of a system user reminded her of that old man, a "granter" of wishes.
'Does this system user know where he is?'
'I want to strangle that old fogey...'
The Creator was a sore spot of hers. Apart from wanting to brutalize the man, her quest required her to find him again, even if the option remained locked.
Snow White pondered, 'Well, it's not like only The Creator can dish out systems... it might not be his creation.'
She sighed, feeling as if she was back in high school, drowning in homework and projects.
Snow had a lot of things to do within the next few days. Stupid quest.
Or else.
*Babble* (System, lead the way.)
[Affirmative]
A map appeared in front of Snow. The animated yellow marker that subsequently emerged instantly grabbed her attention.
<Reign>
Snow White took a baby step forward despite the yellow marker pointing in another direction. Because frankly, it didn't matter.
The fabric of reality twisted to suit her needs.
Snow felt the faintest brush of wind against her skin.
'Hoh? Am I experiencing turbulence? That's new.'
The feeling vanished with the appearance of a smooth texture on the soles of her feet. Smooth and solid ground, different from the snow-filled planet where she... uhh... emerged.
'The planet that was destroyed in no time...'
...
..
.
..
...
'Are my parents dead?'
Snow didn't know what to say about that.
'...I hope you guys live better lives in your next life.' she offered a solemn prayer.
Finishing the thought, a sudden weakness befell her.
*Babble!* (Not again!) Snow exclaimed at the sudden bestowment of her blessing.
Just as she thought about reclaiming it, she stopped herself.
In the end, Snow really did hope they would live better lives. Recalling her digested memories, she knew that the concept of reincarnation existed.
Snow hoped that her blessing would be enough as recompense...
...
..
.
..
...
*Sigh*
...
..
.
..
...
Snow White slowly inspected her new surroundings.
To her left: Wall
To her right: Wall
To her front: Wall with a door.
To the sky: Roof
In reality, arches with intricate surfaces framed the walls made of ancient wood. They emitted a fresh scent that tickled her nose. Sunlight seeped through the artistic apertures on the ceiling, and when Snow peeked through it, she saw the night sky, an unexpected sight.
The wooden door seemed simple but secure despite the aged locks and minor cavities present.
Snow tried to peak through them as well but found an invisible barrier blocking the view to the outside world.
'Is that the cause of turbulence earlier?' she assumed. She looked somewhere else.
Snow White curiously followed the ups and downs of the arches, starting from the end near the entrance.
Rhythmically bobbing her head, her gaze arrived upon the inner area of the building she was in.
...Snow didn't quite know what she was looking at.
It seemed to be a lotus flower, a gigantic one, blooming atop a tranquil pond.
Crystalline in nature, the purple lotus still managed to sway with the slightest wind.
Atop it sat a man whose face shone with divine light, whose body wore the most dazzling treasures Snow had laid her eyes on, and whose cultivation exceeded her own.
Snow White was surprised.
Hadn't she reached the peak of strength?
'Above the Great Dao Supreme realm... none of the millions of digested memories spoke of this.'

Looking at the yellow marker above the person's head, Snow intuitively held her breath.
Meanwhile, Han Jue had risen to his feet, his expression hidden by a veil of divine light.
