Chapter III

I shoot up and head-butt Coda so hard I almost knock myself back out. I wince and put my hand on my head and groan," What did you do you jerk?" I ask trying to keep the fact that everything just change which is making me panic inside. I look around seeing that I have been brought into my room," You were knocked out by some girl." He looks at me full of concern and puts his hand on my shoulder." How long?" He asks and I look at him confused about what he is asking." How long have you been dealing with her, Brook?" I inhale and shrug not wanting to talk about it. He just keeps looking at me so I glare at him and push him away and get up off my bed. "Brook sit back down. I wasn't done talking to you."

I keep walking away but then I feel his hand grab my arm so I stop and just stand there not wanting to even look at him. " I asked how long have you been dealing with this chick picking at you?" He says with a more forced tone and glaring at me. I yank my arm out of his hand," I scream at him and run outside to the woods. There is a beautiful tree that I always run to if I feel like I need a break. I climb up the tree and curl into a tight ball pressing my knees into my chest. I must have fallen back to sleep because I see the cell all over again.

I am sitting in a silver chair chained and the door flies open with Coda being thrown in by a huge man who glares at me. " You don't belong here little wolf." He stares and glares at me harder and walks into the room shutting the door behind him. He goes to grab me by my long red hair, but before he can touch me a huge grey wolf jumps up and bites his arm and I can hear the man's arm snap and I scream. The man falls to the floor grabbing his arm and groans in pain. The wolf jumps up and bites his arm and I can hear the man's arm and groans in pain. The wolf locks his jaws around his head and flicks his head to the right making the man's neck snap. The wolf let the man go, then I realize I can't find Coda. I start to panic, but the wolf looked at me and walked toward me slightly. For some reason, my body doesn't listen to me and I don't move I don't even try to get away or at least out of the chains.

The wolf stalks toward me then plops his head down on my lap. All of a sudden the chains are gone and my hand goes to his head and starts petting him softly. He woofs and moves off me and starts walking away I call out for him to wait but he never shows up, but Coda walks in with no injuries and is unphased with what just happened to us. He extends his arm to me and opens his hand as if he was a whole new person. I stand slowly and grab his hand and he pulls me behind him and walks toward a huge iron door and the next thing I know he shoves me in and slams the door behind me... I scream and bang on the door begging to be let out, but no one answers, and all there is silence. I jump as I hear a loud voice," Brook! Brook get down here and talk to me!"

I flinch and open my eyes and look around remembering I had climbed into my tree to get away from everything. I looked down to see Coda glaring at me with crossed arms. I roll my eyes and start to climb down, but I get halfway down and one of the branches breaks and I fall and land on Coda but I scream hearing my ankle and my wrist snap as I tried to catch myself. He grabs me quickly and looks me over trying to find the wounds and see how bad they are. He grabs my ankle and I scream in pain, he just looks up at me and tells me to close my eyes so I do. I feel him move his hand slightly on my ankle then he moves sharp and quick snapping my ankle more.

I scream bloody murder and look at him but then suddenly the pain stops. I look down at my ankle and see it slowly popping back into place and healing. I looked up at Coda and he is watching me seeing how I react to it," H...How did that just happen?" I ask him and he just looks down slightly and grabs my wrist quickly before I can pull away and breaks it. I scream again and just like my ankle it heals. Coda looks at me exhaling and stands.

He reaches his hand out to help me stand up, but I don't move and just stare. He huffs and moves his hand away, but instead of walking away he turns around and takes off his shirt and takes a few steps away from me, and turns back to face me. I look at him really confused and go to get up but he growls loud like an animal. I inhale and freeze and look at him as loud as an animal. I inhale and freeze and look at him with worry," C...Coda?" He looks at me with his now blue eyes that are normally green and swallow hard. The next thing I know he growls louder and jumps and his body snaps and cracks, then there was a wolf in front of me. No Coda to be seen just beautiful grey fur, paws, and sharp white fangs.

I scream and go running away but then I realize, that is the same wolf in my dreams. I freeze in my tracks and look at him confused" C...Coda?" I ask and the wolf's ears twitch. I at the wolf in shock and slowly realize that the wolf that stands in front of me is my brother. I can't believe what I am seeing and tilt my head slightly in confusion. The wolf sits and starts to mirror me so I move and kinda start dancing and the wolf starts doing it with me till he falls on his back. I laugh and sit next to him and put a hand on his fur and start petting his coat. His coat is hoars with dirt but soft on the inside. I Feel the wolf stiffen slightly and then I scream bloody murder.
