Chapter 26: Untitled

Time passed quickly. It was almost time for my child to be born. I hope it's a girl, since I already have 2 boys. My sister had a little boy named Atlas. If I had a girl we would name her Aria if it was a boy we would name him Ace. In 2 month my little nephew will be turning 1 year old. Ha what a day that will be.

At the moment I am being escorted to my room so I can get ready to give birth to my baby. Cross your fingers legs toes whatever you can cross in hopes it's a girl. So I got dressed in a special robe type thing and laid down to get ready.

Midwife's name was Sicilia. Such a pretty name too. "Push. Oh I see the head. Keep pushing one or two more pushes and the baby will be out." I pushed as hard as I can and 2 pushes later out came my baby. I heard the baby cry and I was happy. "It's a baby girl." I was overjoyed I got a girl. So was Jay since he was allowed in. "We are going to name her Aria." "Hey there little one. I'm your daddy." Said Jay. "Hehe. I'm your mommy." I said. "Hey Sicilia can you get my kids and have them meet their little sister?" "Yes of course."

A few minutes later the kids rushed in. "Woah slow down there you don't want to scare your little sister." "Aww so we had a sister after all. Yay I'm not the only girl now besides you mom." "Haha yeah." "Can I hold her mom?" "Yes be very careful. Put your arm under her head to support her." "OK mom." So Jay took the baby and helped Kida get a good hold on the baby. "Hello little sister. I'm your big sister Kida. Over there is big brother Adrian. He is my twin brother." "Hey there little sister." She smiled big at them. "Aw look she likes us. She's smiling." Said Kida. "Haha yeah." Said Adrian. "Can I hold her too mom?" "After your sister you can for a bit then we have to get her down to rest ok? In a couple of weeks we will be visiting your brother Arion to introduce the baby oh and grandma and grandpa over there as well." "Yay then after awhile can me and sister visit our boyfriend and girlfriend?" "Yes but we will be staying with grandma and grandpa ok?" "Yes mom." Said Adrian.

So 2 weeks passed in the blink of an eye so we all took a carriage over to the elf village. Jay and I took turns holding the baby. We also made a baby carrier for the baby so we didn't have to tire our hands out.

After awhile we finally made it to my parents house. I already informed them I had the baby and we were coming over. What I didn't tell them is that is was a girl and her name. I would tell them that when I got there. Jay knocked on the door. (Knock Knock) the younger brother answered. "Oh hi Derion." "Oh its Talia. Mom its Talia! Hello sis how are you feeling?" "A little tired." "Well come in and get some rest all of you sit down and relax a bit." Aragon came to help them out. "Hi dad. Where is mom?" "Oh shes coming."

"Sorry here I am." "Hi mom. Here is my little girl. Her name is Aria. Aria Eve Evans." "Aww how sweet. Pretty name. Now you have two boys and two girls huh?" "Yeah I sure do. Speaking of kids where is Arion?" "Oh he is on his way back from work. Oh speak of the devil here he is."

"Oh hello mom. Is this my little sibling?" "Yes this is your sister Aria. Aria Eve Evans." "Aww she's so pretty and cute. Looks like you mom." "You think so? I think she looks more like your dad." "Haha well she has a mixture of you and dad just like the twins do." "Yeah I guess we will find out when she gets older." "Can I hold her mom?" "Yes sure Arion. Careful she's still little." I gave the baby to Arion. "Hello little sis. I'm your big brother Arion. You may see my name spelled a different way. Just remember its with an A not an O in the future ok?" "Oh I forgot to mention. When she is 1 or 2 years old I plan on moving to the castle here." "Oh really? Cool then I can see you more often then. I wanted to wait to tell you and dad. I help out the castle doctor. I do what I can to help heal patients. Mom do you think if my birth mom was alive she would do the same as I am now?" "Oh Arion. Your mother didn't want to work there. She was helping out the village doctor. She wanted to heal as many people as she could and keep them healthy was her dream. As long as they were healthy and happy no matter who they were she was happy." "Well I may not follow in her footsteps at the village but I still make people happy and healthy. Which was part of her dream right?" "Yes of course. Just promise me though. Don't overdue it like your mother did. Your mother overworked herself is how she ended up like she was." "Yes mom I know. I'll try to rest when I need it. Plus now I have a little sister to watch over and keep healthy. I have to live long enough to do that right Aria?" She smiled at him. "Aww she's smiling. That's a pretty smile. She has your smile mom." "Yeah she does."

"Oh where is Indigo? I haven't seen him yet?" "Oh he will be here around dinner time. He had plans with his friends." "OK good. He needs to meet his little Neice." I said. So Arion gave the baby to Jay since I needed a break. Derion held the baby for a bit then my parents held her. Time happened in a blink of an eye and it was already dinnertime and I saw indigo walk in.

"Hello brother. This is your little Niece Aria. I named her Aria Eve Evans." "Aww you named her after mom. So sweet. Hello little one. I'm your uncle." "Since everyone his here where are the twins?" "Oh they are at their boyfriend and girlfriends houses." "Sigh. OK then." "Oh I have news mom and dad. I finally have a girlfriend. Remember the girl I was chasing? I finally made her my girlfriend. I will bring her over tomorrow for dinner." "OK sure. We would love to meet her. Then it will be your turn to get one Derion." "Mom I already told you I am not looking. Plus you got big brother right now. He just got a girlfriend." I cleared my throat. "What is it sis?" "Well if you are willing Derion, I can introduce someone to you. Her parents are bugging her to get a boyfriend. She is even a future Dutchess." "Oh really? Where is she from?" "Well at the moment she lives over in our village. With her parents. I'll make a date for you too meet up with her and introduce you." "Well since you offered I guess it wouldn't hurt." "OK good. When we get back I will talk to her." "Thanks big sis." "Sure not problem. Anything for my little brothers." The baby was in the playpen sleeping at the moment. While everyone was eating.

I needed some fresh air so I told them I needed to go outside for a bit for a walk. So I headed out not expecting what was about to happen to me at the time. I just got out the door and took a deep breath when I hurt a strange sound. Then I felt a pain in my stomach area. I was bleeding. Luckily I wasn't far from the house but I can barely move let alone talk. I slammed the door and collapsed on the ground. I heard people come running and saw Jay and Arion running over. "Mom! Mom. Are you ok? What happened?" "Cough. I don't…Know. I….heard a sound….and then a pain…in my stomach. Something….is….in my stomach. I…..Don't…Know." Then she was unconscious. "Mom! Mom wake up! Dad call a doctor! I can't heal mom by myself. I don't have that authority yet." "On it." So Jay called the doctor.

In a few minutes the doctor was already there. "What happened Arion?" "I don't know. Mom went out to get some fresh air and said she heard a strange noise then felt a pain in her stomach. There is blood everywhere. Also she said there is something inside of her we need to check what it is." "Good job Arion. The first thing is we need to be calm remember that. I know its hard because its someone you love. That is why we usually don't treat them ourselves." So the doctor examined Talia and got what it was that was inside of her with tweezers. He was shocked and quickly put it in the bag so he wouldn't touch it.

After healing his mom Arion said, "What was it that mom was shot with?" "It's one of the Elves weaknesses. They must have known one of our weaknesses." "She may be part human but she is more elf than human so its just as severe as yours would be since you are full elf. Its sharp. It's a piece of that tree we were told to stay away from. The elders told us to stay away from." "No! Is mom going to be ok?" "Did you stop her bleeding?" "Yeah I did what I could." "Lets take a look." The doctor checked her out and said, "I see you did a good job." "Jay let the others know what is going on. Just taking this out and healing isn't going to cut it. I have to take her to the infirmary. Then you are welcome to come see her after." "Yes sir." Jay ran to tell everyone what happened and eve watched the baby while everyone ran over as well. "Oh little one. Your mommy will be fine. she is a strong girl. She comes from a strong family." Eve said to Aria.

They finally got to the infirmary and had to wait outside while they gave her some medicine. Her veins were turning purple as a reaction to the piece of wood they took out. Which is what happens to all elves. She had a fever and they were trying to get her fever down so she can see her family and survive. Finally after a couple of hours her fever subsided and she was able to see her family but she was still sleeping and they went to visit her. The twins got the memo and were there with Lindir and Rina.

"Mom if you can hear us. Your family is with you. Me and Kida are here. As well as dad grandpa and your little brothers. Grandma is home with the baby. You have to wake up mom. For us for the baby. For your kids who will always need you. We love you mommy. Oh also we brought Lindir and Rina with us."

It was getting late since it was already night time. It was already 9:00pm. "Ok Adrian. Why don't you two make sure Lindir and Rina get home ok then go to grandma's and get to bed. I will stay here with your mom ok?" "OK dad. What about uncle Derion and Indigo?" "I will talk to them don't worry." "Ok dad." So He got Kida and the others and listened to their dad.

Derion and Indigo when home with Aragon. Jay stayed with Talia. She was still unconscious. She looked like she was either in pain or having a nightmare because her face was scrunched up and she was groaning.

"Shh. Its ok Talia. I'm here. I'm always here and will be when you wake up. Relax its going to be ok." Once she felt Jay's fingers running through her hair she calmed down.

Around noon the next day she still had the purple veins just not as bad as before. She showed signs of waking up. "Hmm." She was doing this and moving around a lot. "Jay are you still here?" "Yes I'm here. I'm here." She was fighting to keep her eyes open. "You are here. Thank goodness your ok and it was a dream. What happened to me? Why am I here?" "Do you remember when you went outside to get a breather?" "Oh yeah." Then she contemplated how everything happened. "Do we know who did it?" "Not yet they are still investigating." "I think I might know who this is. When I was out with Tax when I was on the dragons and got shot with an arrow it's the same people. They Don't want to kill me. I know that much. Damn them they should know better than to do it without my permission and warn me next time. Anyway I heard what everyone said. The Symptoms where mostly the same but something stranger happened they can't explain. That's what I heard from them. After I get out of here I want to go to the tree. Can you take me Jay?" "Yes I will."

A few days later she was fine to go out. Everyone was with me this time. My mother brought the baby. She gave her to Jay. Lindir and Rina were at home right now. Everyone knows what I am about to do and was worried so they all came to watch.

Finally we made it to the gate that guards stand at to keep people away from the tree. But give exceptions to certain people like Talia.
