A Gift for Mio

Shin's POV.

After the good news always comes the bad news. I spend all night studying for the exams and before i knew it one week has already pass its now saturday and i am-

"Soooo tired!!" I said after a tiring week of exam.

"Oh c'mon it's not that bad right?" Shishiro said.

"Well it won't be as bad if I have the brain of a studying maniac" Makoto said.

"I mean I'm sure the result is not that bad" Shishiro said reassuringly.

"Yeah like i haven't heard that before and immediately blow up in my face" Makoto said.

After that Mr.Stephan enters the classroom "Good work on your exams everyone i'm sure you all are very tired and excited for the beach trip next thursday, i have already seen all of your results and call me surprised some of the result are quite surprising, the result will be posted on monday so feel free to do anything you all want today just don't cause any trouble okay sorry for bothering all of you have a nice day" He said as he leave the classroom.

"I wonder what father meant by the surprising result?" Shishiro said.

"I bet it means I got lower grades than before" I said.

"Hey c'mon man have some confident" Naoto said from the classroom door and walked towards us.

"Hey Naoto how was your exam week? I miss you, I didn't get to see you this whole week, let's go out later" Makoto said.

"Oh? Is this a date invitation?" Naoto asked and Makoto nodded with a slightly red face.

"Hahaha Makoto can be really cute sometimes huh?" Shishiro said.

"Oh shut up" Makoto replied.

"So anyways how much would you grade yourself Shin since you said it's low i would guess below 50?" Naoto asked.

"It's probably lower than 30 judging by how big and smart his brain is" Ai said entering the classroom.

"Oh cmon sis i am not that dumb?" I asked.

"Oh I'm sorry dear brother i didn't mean it you probably get 35 since you study all night" Ai said.

"That doesn't make any difference!" I said frustrated.

"Haha, I'm joking. I think your grade won't be that bad. I can tell you did your best" Ai said with a smile.

"Say where is Ryuji? I haven't seen him this week either" Shishiro asked.

"Look like everyone was separated from their couple except for this guy" Ai said pointing her thumb at me.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Shishiro asked.

"Well brother over here spend all week in Mio's house and he didn't even invite me and the fact that they study all night makes it suspicious" Ai said.

"I-i didn't do anything with him i swear!" Mio said, entering the classroom with Ryuji.

"Ryuji i miss you how have you been?" Shishiro rushed towards a Ryuji and hugged him.

"I'm fine, just a little tired, that's all" He replied.

"Well since we are all here wanna do something?" Makoto asked.

"Something like?" I asked.

"Well.... I got nothing" Makoto replied.

"Say let's not hangout today, not that i don't want to but i mean we just went through exam week everyone should be tired why not try to rest today?" Ai said.

"Well that might be a good idea. I'll try to rest as much as I can when I get home" Makoto said.

"Me too, I might go somewhere to freshen up later" Naoto said.

"Huh? Hey I wanna come with, can I tag along?" Makoto asked.

"Of course you can come, it's a date then!" Naoto said.

"What about you Ryuji wanna come over and make music together? I think we can polish some lyrics in our original?" Shishiro asked.

"Sure we can do some rework" Ryuji replied.

"Well I think i'm just gonna rest at home" I said.

"Me too, I'm gonna take care of my flowers at home" Mio said.

"I might help out my mom at the cafe" Ai said.

"What theme is today? Cheerleader or something?" Ryuji asked.

"No, it's a dog theme today" Ai replied.

"Ooooh I might pay a visit later and take some pictures hehehe" Makoto said laughing.

"Don't you dare" Ai said threateningly.

A few moments passed as we were talking, the school bell then rang and it's time to go home.

Ai decided to stop by mom's cafe and I decided to take Mio home.

"Say Mio how high do you think i scored in the exam?" I asked.

"W-well judging from the hard work we did together at least I'm sure you will pass" Mio said.

"Well as long as i pass i don't mind hahaha" I said patting Mio's head.

"hehehe" Mio laughed.

After a few moments we arrived at her house "Wanna come in for some tea?" Mio offered.

"No it's okay if i enter i might not wanna leave hehe" I declined.

"Okay take care then" Mio said opening the door "Hold on wait i have something for you" I said stopping her.

"Give me your hand" I said as I gave her a pink flower pattern bracelet.

"W-what is this? it's so pretty" Mio said.

"I'm glad you like it. I bought it just for you. I know you like flowers so I picked the flower shaped one" I said.

Mio then hugged me very tightly "Thanks Shin i love it" She said and kissed me on the cheek.

"I got something for you to wait right here" Mio said then she entered her house.

After a few moments she then returned with the same exact bracelet as the one I gave her.

"It's definitely a coincidence I actually bought you a bracelet too. Now we have a matching bracelet hehehe" Mio said smiling.

"Thanks i'll cherish this for the rest of my life" I said while putting the bracelet on.

"Heheh you don't need to take it that far haha" She replied.

"Well I need to go now, I'll see you again next time" I said.

After that I parted ways with Mio and headed back home.
