Deep north

Fan Lin was staring at the Ice Jade Scorpion Queen.

He was bewitched of the beauty of Ice Jade Scorpion Queen. He was an animal connoisseur and was surprised to see a completely new species.

He had seen a lot of different soul beasts and she was still one of the most beautiful.

[He had not seen Zi Ji true form anywhere. He had seen the Bear lord transform though but he was in a serious fight against Di Tian so he didn't pay that much attention. ]

He was wondering how was it possible for a thing like that to even exist. She had no organs or brain. She also had no nervous system. Yet she was able to move, talk and even think. It was an amazement in itself.

Along with the fact that she was literally a piece of art. It felt like every piece of her was made after thousands of thoughts. It was like she was literally made by the God.

He went and touched her body. It was smooth and cold. Yet the coldness was not that much. It was just like touching the scales of an alligator before it sunbathed.

That was because she made the temperature drop to not harm his accidentally.

But unlike the alligator, her skin was smooth like a newly brought book. She was amazing to touch as her smoothness and Cylindrical curves made her more touchable than a Tiger's fur or a Lion's mane.

She was the most beautiful soul beasts that he had ever seen. He really was amazed to see her.

The Ice Jade Scorpion Queen turned into her Human form due to Fan Lin's gaze.

Her jade-green hair flowed down behind her back, and her eyes were jade-green, too. Her figure was slender, and her light-green dress outlined it perfectly. Her snowy-white and slender arms were exposed.

And Fan Lin lost interest. He love for his wife is something that he can't forget and it is making him blind to the feelings of others girls. The unfortunate thing being that there were no girls who had any feelings for him.

He would die a loner at this rate.

"Let's start the talk then. I will restore the Millennium Ice shards and in return I need to borrow it for a friend of mine. She is a soul beast and is nearing her second hundred thousand year calamity. "

"I heard that it can help her and that's why I came to ask for this."

After having no distractions in his sight. Fan Lin reverted to his apathetic, emotionless self. His words dripped of ' I don't care about the world' attitude.

He was really a straightforward and weird person. He never cared about others. Even when they are strong.

Acting strong against those types of people was the best way as humans have this inherent habit, they fear those who are strong and confident and pick on those that look weak or act weak.

That was the cowardly nature of the humans. They never learn.

Hence be strong when you face a person stronger than you. It interests them and you can live another day. Of you die, then the person you were acting in fron of, was a weak coward who uses people and money to do things.

Unlike his old world, this world has a habit. The strong has this self respect and they seldom cross that boundary. Even when they are bad people. They still never use their full strength until that is their last choice.

That was also the reason why all the MCs were able to escape from those. They were never serious to begin with. That was also the reason why some people read and think that this person is so weak, he could not even do a little work and then later that character uses his full strength and you will be like, how did he get so strong? He wasn't like that before. Yada yada.

Now onto the story.

"What do you guys think?"

Fan Lin completed his sentence. He was not afraid of them. He could easily escape from them. Be it by force or by teleporting.

He was glad that they didn't do anything to him till then..

As for him violating the body of the Ice Jade Scorpion Queen, be completely ignored it because he didn't find it odd. Most of the animals in the forest in his past life knew him and that's why they never resisted getting checked by him. Most of the times he checked for any injuries and applied medication to them.

After coming to this world, the only Soul beasts be actually checked were his own spirit souls and they knew about his nature due to them being spiritually connected to him. They didn't know that he was a transmigrater, they just knew of the emotions he felt for them and his emotions for something which they didn't understand.

Hence they let him check their body. Fan Lin's eyes never contained malice or any other bad desires in them. They can feel it hence they never resisted.

So he thought that it was normal. That is why crime with innocence is the most dangerous. You can hardly judge that person because that person thinks that he is right and that is also the reason why Juvenile prison existed.

"Will you accept my demands. If you can then I will start the work right now. Just tell me where are the Millennium Ice shards and I will begin restoration on them.

Fan Lin continued. He had already spent more than two weeks in the search for the Millennium Ice shards and he wanted to get them as fast as he can.

All of them, be it the Octopus King, the Deep Seahorse king or the Barracuda Queen, they know that her calamity will come in a few months but they didn't know the fixed date.

The calamity can come anywhere between the next month to three months later.

He was not ready to bet on luck. He was in a hurry. He can just show them that he can restore the Millennium Ice shards and then borrow it from them.

Fan Lin planned that he would restore one Millennium Ice shard first and show them that he can do it. After that he will convince them to borrow it and teleport it to the Barracuda Queen and then came to the deep north and finish the other two.

That was his plan. Except there are loopholes that he knew that existed in his plans.

First, he didn't know how to restore the Millennium Ice shards.

Second, he didn't know how much time the restoration would need.

Third, he wasn't sure that they will accept his plans.

Why?

First of all, he was a human, secondly the Millennium Ice shards were the last hope of the Deep north and all of its Soul beasts. They would not give it to any bystanders just because they offer to restore it.

"Do you have a ice attribute Martial Soul? Is it the Snow lady or Ice scorpion or any of the ice related martial soul?"

The lady who was sitting beside the Ice Jade Scorpion Queen asked.

"No, I don't have any ice attribute Martial Soul. My Martial Soul is Blue Silver Grass. It is a plant type Martial Soul. Why did you ask?"

His words shocked, amused and angered them at the same time.
