The Holy Spirit Cult

"What is happening in the world? Why did the planar ruler warned even us!? I want to know the reason as soon as possible."

The Holy Spirit Cult leader roared to her officials.

What they wanted was to ascend to Godhood. All the upper echelon had the same desire but the lower echelons were conned into believing that they wanted to create a new world for them by destroying this world.

That was how they were able to get the sympathy and strength of all the lower echelons.

Dark/ Evil spirit masters. They were hunted down by everyone. A person does not even need to an evil person. Just having an dark martial soul was enough to make them ostracized, hunted and even more miserable things.

That was the reason why the Evil soul masters hated the world. That's why they killed all those people in their own ways.

They didn't get the right to become normal people so they began doing what they were called as to begin with.

Their evil martial souls was also a problem. It distorted their views the more negative emotions they felt. It made a cycle and now all the soul masters who pre have martial soul or evil soul master lineage become the reason for them to be discriminated.

Many of them were not evil to begin with. They didn't do something bad. They were forced by the world to do so.

That's why, most of the lower echelons of the Holy Spirit Cult hated the world and worshipped the evil God who promised to destroy it for them.

They wanted the destruction of the current world and then create a world where they were not ostracized or oppressed. They wanted freedom and they were ready to destroy the world for it.

This was the thoughts of the lower echelons. The upper echelon knew of the truth of the so called Evil God and what they wanted was to attain Godhood and become free from the world.

They didn't care about the others, they thought of them as stepping stones and they wanted to use them for their purposes.

All of them had their own plans and all of them would do anything to achieve them.

Demon Island

All the powerhouses here have felt the warnings of the Plane and they were in conflict. They wanted to leave but they also could not at the same time.

They knew that the Planar Ruler must have done something stupid and now it was time for it to pay.

What they actually were worrying about was the fate of the world and Shrek Academy.

They all made a decision that if the things got out of control then they would go to sort it out even if it's their last.

Spirit Pagoda headquarters

"Sir, we have already dispatched the fleet and they are on their way to the place where we last saw Fan Lin at. They would be able to reach their destination in just ten days. After that, with the help of Chen Xinjie, they would be able to capture the two of them and then they would return."

"All in all it would take around a month for the job to be done. The Joust for the spouse event will also be held in 50 days. Since we are going to be showing them to the world in the competition, we have enough time to prepare for everything."

He had also felt the danger signal but it was from the Star Dou forest and the competition was going to be held at the Bright City. Both were world's apart.

He had already sent a group to check out the situation of the Star Dou forest and to report it to him.

Qiangu Dongfeng didn't care about the soul beasts that much. He already knew that the soul beasts were on their last breaths and they would have no choice but to accept his offer.

He didn't thought for a single moment that Fan Lin would be able to get out of the situation alive.

He still thought that the real reason that Fan Lin was able to supress Chen Xinjie was because Chen Xinjie had lost control over his martial soul.

Plus there were going to be more than 20 Limit Douluos in the event along with more than 80 Hyper Douluos and innumerable number of mecha even divine grade ones.

He never thought about the issue of Fan Lin surviving the attack of all of them because if Fan Lin could then he would not have been hiding from the Federation. He had also prepared the third Level 12 soul missiles ready for the place where he was hiding.

"You really like soul beasts huh. You will die with them then."

Qiangu Dongfeng was imagining the world where Spirit Pagoda would reign supreme.

Shrek Academy

Yun Ming had been trying to call Fan Lin since the night he was seen in the Shrek City.

It had been two days already and Fan Lin was still unreachable.

The others didn't know but he knew that the plane was suppressing Fan Lin from reaching the Spirit Domain Realm.

He also knew that Fan Lin was like a ticking bomb that would explode with the slightest of problems.

The warnings that felt two days ago, the same night when Fan Lin was seen at the Shrek City, he knew something was definitely going to happen and Fan Lin was definitely involved with it.

He felt the regret of the plane and he was aware of the hatred that Fan Lin had against it.

He was just hoping it to be not him.

He had seen the extent of his strength and he knew that tens of him would not be enough to defeat him.

Fan Lin was the anomaly and he was proving it with his actions.

He was strong, far stronger but his mentality was weak. And that was also the reason he recommended to love someone, that would have given him a new reason to protect the world, instead of destroying it.

Fan Lin was the deciding factor of the soul beasts and he is also the deciding factor of the humans.

Yun Ming selfishly wanted Fan Lin to choose the side of the humans.

He knew it later that it was impossible. The deep hatred that he had for humans was something that he was unable to understand. Fan Lin never told him about his past.

He also never dared to ask.

He didn't know about the things that happened to him. Things that made him like that but he wanted to change him or at least gain time for Wulin to become strong.

He knew of the secret of Wulin. He knew whose child he was. He knew that that man would definitely do something to protect Wulin but till when.

He was trusting all the things that he had wanted to achieve to Wulin. Wulin will achieve Godhood and he would also help them to reach it. He wanted to help him in his journey.

For him Wulin was his only hope and Fan Lin the only God.
