Blue samurai

In a muddy, dark, tense field filled with hundreds of bloody corpses, entailed the fight of Ao’s life. With sparks flying, and the clanks of swords crashing against one another. The fight of two polar opposites but two sides of the same coin. Light and dark. Day and Night. Fire and Water. Brother and brother. The emotion filled slashes reverberating in the field, each a threat to take one another’s death. Until it did. Ao felt a pain he felt thousands of times before from his scar ridden body but this time, on his heart. And with this, he knew. He lost. From a 30 year rivalry it all came to naught. “All of that and you couldn’t even do it in one slice. After all of that… My death is a result of your insecurities Aka. I didn’t want your bastard throne you fool. But no… you sent hundreds of men for me… well done Aka…my own brother…you…won…” Suddenly, the pain vanished from Ao’s body and he suddenly felt the ultimate comfort. Until a rude awakening commenced as a deathly screech reached his ears. “Aahhh what now, for Gods sake” until he realised this screech was his own.

Battle of the Brothers(2)

Ao was in a fierce battle with 14 swordsmen of the iron army as he skilfully parried, blocked and countered, using his surroundings to their full capacity. The fatigue was slowly starting to set in but he knew this battle was life or death and decided to start his attack.

He strategically integrated all 12 of his stances into his attacks but these stances took more energy than his normal swordsmanship but this is what it would take if he were to survive this encounter.

4th stance: Water cocoon

He aimed his sword at one of the swordsmen as a sphere of water began to form. As it grew bigger and bigger at a rapid pace and began to encase the opposition, slowly drowning him. The swordsman began to struggle and scream but to no avail as Ao fended off the other enemies.

This was now the 8th person he had killed from the remaining army and he now only had 6 swordsmen left as they all entered a standstill. Ao's chest was rising up and down as sweat dripped from the tip of his nose, his sword still firmly in his grip, anticipating an attack from any of his opposition. With this standstill, Ao mentally prepared himself to finish off this encounter with his final stance.

12th Stance: Raining hell

Ao slowly raised his sword in a controlled and seemingly innocent manor and again at the same speed slashed downwards. As the slash finished, all the swordsmen watch in complete confusion as rain started to slowly drip for what seemed like kilometres around them. But as 5 seconds went on the rain started to pick up until it began pouring. The rain droplets started to speed up. The power of the rain created bruises on the iron army's bodies as they suddenly realised the danger of the stance Ao just used but before they could attack him to stop it the rain began piercing their bodies.

Some had their brains directly hit, making them collapse, whereas others were slowly being disintegrated by the droplets with only their deafening screams as proof they were still alive. But the rain ferocity didn't slow down until all of Ao's opposition were dead with the sole survivor being Ao who was on the brink of becoming unconscious from his battle. The rain slowly started to ease up after 10 minutes as he stood there with his sword in hand as if he had another opponent.

And as if he already knew, another swordsman appeared from the distance as he walked towards Ao. The man adorned in red with salt and pepper hair and beard with a sword at his waist and piercing, fierce and experienced eyes locked onto Ao and the maimed bodies of the iron army. He knew what had happened.

"Why do you do this brother. I never wanted your throne and I still don't, yet you still come for me?" Ao questioned as he saw his brother walking towards him.

"You say this after you just killed the iron army? How is this not a threat to my throne. The throne I fought for, the throne you were too scared to aspire to, the throne on the top of the world, which I sit on. Ever since a child I was compared to you by father. You who would never cry as a baby. You who would never complain nor moan. The perfect little child. I was the black sheep in that family and this is my only great achievement for father yet you still want to take it away from me?"

Before Ao could even respond Aka sprinted towards him at a blinding speed. He could feel the heat radiating off of his as he came closer with his footprints brandished in the watered soil as he unsheathed his sword. The sword was a bright crimson with a black and simple black handle and a curved blade, similar to a katana until it blazed with fire and was slashed at Ao.

Ao hardly reacted in time as he prepared to block the fire sword with his sword which was now comparatively covered in a calmed water which encased his own sword. Their clash produced a sonic boom, making all the nearby maimed bodies being sent flying away from the clash of the brothers.

They both exchanged blows repeatedly with each one creating clanging and crashing noises to anyone in a 3km radius as if a storm of lightning and thunder was churning in the distance.

Feel like I'm putting too much detail on his past life so I'm gonna try and speed this fight up a bit to get to the main part of the story
