Blood Traitors

Her gaze lingered on his freckled face from across the great hall, her eyes tracing across every feature of his face, from the upturned corners of his devious grin to the small silvery scar that ran through his eyebrow. Sighing and aimlessly stirring her porridge, the metal clinking on the ceramic bowl as she allowed her mind to get engulfed by the prior night when those callused hands had been exploring every inch of her body...

~Confronting Encounters and Fierce Blushes~

Slipping her coat from her shoulders, Bella entered the Three Broomsticks and sat on an empty table.

"I'll get us a drink," Cho said, walking off towards the counter and towards a certain Hufflepuff, it was apparent why she volunteered.

Slumping into her chair, Bella let down her hair, running her hands through her hair, letting curls of silver tumble down her back.

"Getting comfortable there Malfoy?"

A familiar red-head pulled out a chair and sat on it, right across from her, his piercing brown eyes boring into hers, a faint smirk on his lips.

"What do you want George?" she said, harshly, staring right back at him, annoyance growing in her as he let out a low chuckle.

"On a first name basis are we now Bella," he grinned, a cheeky spark appearing in his eyes.

Bella scowled and looked away, willing for Cho to come back.

"Y'know, I really enjoyed the little show you put on last night love," he smirked, noticing how visibly flustered she suddenly got.

"Excuse me?" she snapped, "What show?"

George relished this, watching her squirm with fury in her seat, her mouth contorted into a scowl that conveyed her undying hatred for him.

Winking he stood up, turned his chair back around and joined his friends leaving her flabbergasted.

Trying to contain herself Bella took several deep breaths, digging her nails into her palms, fear coursing through her.

What on earth had she done last night, surely she couldn't have done what she thought she did?

A sudden adrenaline rush caused her to stand up, pushing her nerves aside and approaching George, tugging on his sleeve vigorously until he noticed her.

"You can't just leave like that Weasley, explain!" Bella demanded, her stormy eyes appearing more menacing than ever as they stared him down.

"You don't remember?" he grinned mockingly down at her, "Oh that's a shame, it really was a great night," he smirked, remembering the way she danced, making strong eye contact with him as her hips swayed.

"Oh for God's sake! Did I hook up with you or not Weasley!" she exclaimed, a little too loudly as several heads turned to look at them.

The awkward silence was cut by a snort of laughter from George, "Oh you would love that but no, we didn't, although that could easily be arranged," he said, eyeing her up and down.

Burning a bright red Bella strode away from him feeling severely embarrassed and towards the counter, waving a quick goodbye to Cho as she walked out the door, humiliation overcoming her.

Lying on her bed in her pyjamas Bella curled up, replaying the conversation on repeat in her head, physically cringing every time she remembered what she had said.

God, how had she been so stupid? That would have never happened, but why on earth did she think it did?"

His stupid smirk and those stupid dimples were driving her insane.

He was the bane of her existence and she had to spend the afternoon with him again in two days, what had her life come to?"

Groaning and rolling over onto her stomach, she closed her eyes and let her mind wander but as soon as an extremely intrusive thought popped into her head she closed off her mind, shaking it off and walking to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

What the hell was up with her?
