Episode 13

Finally, I had completed senior high school and was preparing to go to the university. I am almost 18 now. David has started having some problems with his father, which began to cause some sort of tension around the house. Apparently, David's lecturers called to say David was not doing well in some of the classes and Mr Philips was not happy about it one bit. Mr Philips was even more disappointed when he was told David will have to repeat the second year.

In some instances, he would have been expelled due to his inability to excel. But everyone knew his father. So, they decided to give him a second chance. I spent a few months here before I realised who Mr Phipps really was. The man owned five different oil companies around the country and two others in London and New York City. I knew the man was rich, but I did not think he was that rich.
