In Captain Aizen's small study room, he was sitting down on the ground while writing something, a small candle illuminated the room.
He then glanced to his left as he felt a presence behind the door, "Captain Ichimaru, what can I do for you?"
Gin then slid open the door before closing it behind him, "Lord Aizen, I have some important information."
Aizen continued writing as he spoke, "Yes, I also got the message about the Captain's meeting, once I'm done with this, I'll be there."
"Actually it relates to your order about observing Captain Hitsugaya." Gin added calmly.
Aizen stopped writing as he glanced toward Gin with interest, "What may this so-called information be?"
"It seems Captain Hitsugaya is aware of the Hogyoku's presence inside Rukia Kuchki." Gin proclaimed with his usual smile.
Aizen's movement halted as he narrowed his eyes while staring at the wall, "What did you see?" He questioned with an indifferent expression.
"While I was observing from far, I noticed he seemed to be actively searching her body with his spiritual pressure, but it wasn't merely him checking her injuries, It seemed as if he was searching for something much deeper." Gin explained.
"Her soul..." Aizen muttered in realization.
Gin silently nodded as he waited for Aizen to speak again.
"Did he notice you?" Aizen asked.
"No, he showed no signs of noticing my presence, while he is a prodigy, he still has much to grow." Gin responded confidently.
"Well he has grown, exponentially at that, do not underestimate him..." Aizen remarked.
Gin simply smiled, "What shall we do? Shall we extract the Hogyoku now?" Gin suggested curiously.
"Hmm, let's not be too hasty... Soon enough we'll have a large enough distraction brought by Ichigo Kurosaki where taking the Hogyoku will be done without any difficulty."
"For now make sure to keep an eye on Captain Hitsugaya, and I myself we'll make sure the Hogyoku stays safe." Aizen finished.
"I see, if that's the case then I'll be heading to the meeting now." Gin nodded before disappearing.
Aizen had a sly smile on his face as he murmured, "Things seem to be getting more and more interesting, I'll have to account for Captain Hitsugaya's unexpected growth..."
He then disappeared as he headed toward the Emergency Captains Meeting.

Toshiro stood in front of the large double red doors that were the entrance to the Captains meeting room by himself, as Rangiku wasn't allowed to accompany him.
He had his usual cold expression, as he finally walked in toward the left and stood in the line between Shunsui and Mayuri.
Some of the captains weirdly glanced at him because it was their first time seeing his new form, but they quickly gained their composure as they stood ready for the Head Captain to talk.
Toshiro also noticed Aizen glanced toward him, but he simply seemed interested in his new adult form.
"Your late." Yamamoto remarked, seemingly with an annoyed tone as his weary gaze landed on Toshiro.
"My apologies Head Captain, I was busy doing something." Toshiro replied coolly.
Yamamoto simply ignored him as his gruff voice resounded in the hallway, "We will now talk about Captain Hitsugaya's recent discovery, which he himself will explain."
All eyes then landed on Toshiro as they waited for him to speak.
Toshiro had a calm expression as he spoke, "I have recently discovered that the entirety of Central 46 was murdered."
All the Captains eyes widened in surprise, even the likes of Aizen and Gin.
Soi-fon was the first to speak, "If what your say is true, how come we're just hearing about this?"
"The reason we didn't find out is because the suspect seems to have an illusion-based zanpakuto, we haven't ascertained whether we are being attacked from the outside or inside." Toshiro finished.
Everyone glanced around at their fellow Captains once understanding his words.
"Are you insinuating that we have a traitor amongst us?" Mayuri questioned from beside him.
"Actually I have two main suspects." Toshiro answered with a straight face.
All the Captains eyes narrowed as they looked toward Toshiro.
"Then speak it." Soifon remarked.
Toshiro stayed silent for a few seconds before finally speaking, "I believe Captain Aizen and Captain Ichimaru are in cahoots, and were the ones who massacred all the Central 46 members."
Aizen and Gin kept wore their usual expressions, but Toshiro knew inwardly they were confused about how he had come to such a conclusion.
The rest of the Captains warily stared at their two fellow Captains.
"Do you have evidence for such a claim?" Mayuri questioned from beside him, seemingly interested.
"I don't have physical evidence, but I myself have seen them lurking around Central 46, and the time at which I saw them, coincides with the time of death of the Central 46 members." Toshiro explained with a lie he made up.
Mayuri scoffed, "Such circumstantial evidence..." But his eyes seemed rather intrigued as he glanced toward Aizen and Gin.
The rest of the Captains silently agreed, as such flimsy evidence seemed unreliable.
"You dare say such a claim and not even have the evidence to back it?" Gin questioned calmly with his usual smile.
Toshiro didn't reply as he ignored his taunting tone, seemingly unbothered.
Aizen then spoke with a kind smile, "If you wish, you can search my quarters and all my belongings, I have nothing to hide."
Toshiro scoffed as he heard Aizens words, "I'll be sure to do that." He sarcastically remarked, it was obvious it would be clean for someone as meticulous as Aizen.
Shunsui then mumbled with a sly smile, "My, my, we seem to be in quite the predicament..." As if he knew more than he let on.
Unohana herself silently observed the situation.
Zaraki seemed bored as he disinterestedly glanced around.
Yamamoto gave his command as he spoke, "Either way it does not matter! I have seen it for myself, I want Captain Soifon and Captain Hitsugaya to investigate this and capture the culprits! Traitors or not! I will not stand for the Gotei 13 to be ridiculed so easily!" He slammed his cane down as he finished.
"Yes Head Captain!" Toshiro and Soifon nodded their heads as they accepted the order.
Yamamoto then changed the subject as he continued, "We also have an execution planned for the heinous crimes of Rukia Kuchki, she deliberately gave up her powers to a human, so her punishment is death." Yamamoto plainly informed.
Byakuya's lip unnoticeably curved downwards but remained closed.
The meeting then went on for a few more minutes of more menial information, until finally it finished.
"This meeting is adjourned!" Yamamoto commanded as he started to exit.
Captains started to leave, as others lingered around, one of them being Zaraki Kenpachi.
"Hey Hitsugaya! Down for a spar!?" Zaraki loudly questioned with a grin.
"I'll pass..." Toshiro replied plainly.
"I heard ya even stronger than before, don't you wanna test your powers out against a real opponent?" Zaraki pressed as he relaxed his hand on the hilt of his zanpakuto.
"Another time Kenpachi, I'll be sure to call you first if I ever need a sparring partner." Toshiro replied, seemingly unconcerned.
"Tch, don't forget those words." Zaraki mumbled as he started leaving.
Toshiro watched Soifon's exiting figure, 'It seems she's planning on working alone.' He inwardly shrugged, he wasn't going to ask for help either, not that he needed any.
Once most of the Captains left, only Toshiro, Shunsui and Mayuri remained.
Mayuri then turned toward Toshiro, "Well then, spit it out, you seem to have something to say to the both of us."
Shunsui had a light smile as he added, "Indeed, you seem to want something."
Toshiro glanced toward the both of them, as he spoke to them about a plan he conceived of. They talked for a few minutes until finally, the two Captains left the meeting hall, leaving Toshiro by himself.
'Everything is going according to plan.' He nodded contently inwardly.
Toshiro then noticed a familiar presence approaching the meeting hall.
'I also might have to neutralize Momo, as much as I care for her, she'll interfere on his behalf.' He concluded before glancing up at the new arrival.
As he expected, Momo's figure suddenly entered the empty hall with a frown, before it morphed into a shocked expression.
"Wow! The rumors are true, you really have grown..." She absently muttered as she approached him.
"Indeed, unfortunately for you, your still short." He remarked with a straight face.
Her expression turned angry, "So now that your tall you think you can act so high and mighty!? Huh, Toshiro!?"
Toshiro crossed his arms seemingly unamused as he blankly replied, "Hey, hey, mind your manners now, you still have to address me as a Captain."
Momo clenched her fist before sighing and shaking her head.
"Toshiro, Captain Aizen said you accused him of being a traitor! How could you say such a thing?" She looked up at him with a frown.
"Cause he is." He deadpanned with a serious look.
"You don't know a thing about him! You can't just accuse him without evidence!" She exclaimed.
"I just did." He indifferently responded as he simply walked toward the exit.
'Sorry Momo, If I have too, I'll deal with you later, with what's at stake I can't let anything get in my path.' His eyes hardened with determination.
Momo attempted to stop him but he had already vanished.

Back in the human world, the protagonist, Ichigo Kurosaki could be seen sleeping in a futon with bandages all over his body, seemingly in Kisuke Urahara's candy shop.
His eyes slowly fluttered open as he glanced around confusedly.
"Where am I?" He questioned while holding his bandaged shoulder.
"That would be at my house." A man in a bucket hat with a green haori entered as he held a cane.
"Sandal-hat man?... Were you the one who saved me?" Ichigo asked with a subdued tone.
"You sound as if you'd rather me have left you there to die." Kisuke remarked.
Ichigo stayed silent at his conclusion, before looking up with widened eyes, "Wait what about Ishida!?" He questioned worriedly.
"He's fine, his injuries were pretty small, so he decided to treat himself at his own house." Kisuke answered.
Ichigo sighed in relief as he thought back on the events that unfolded.
He lost Rukia because of his incompetence, he was too weak to even stand a chance.
"What the hell am I supposed to do!? I couldn't even protect my friends! Now she's been taken to the Soul Society, a place I have no clue where it's at!" Ichigo frustratedly slammed his fist into his leg.
Kisuke watched silently before speaking, "What if there was a way Ichigo?"
Ichigo's eyes snapped upward as he hurriedly stood up, "Please! If you know a way tell me!" He pleaded.
"On one condition." Kisuke proposed as he raised one finger up.
"What?" Ichigo furrowed his brows.
"You need to train for 10 days."
Ichigo frowned and as he was about to retort, Kisuke cut him off.
"As you are now, you stand no chance if you were to invade, to put it simply, your far too weak. But after the training I give you, trust me, I'll make you strong." Kisuke proclaimed.
"B-But-"
With a simple movement, Kisuke pushed the bottom of his cane onto Ichigo's head before dropping him down.
"If you go now, you'll simply die, and your death will be meaningless, as Rukia will also die... So choose wisely Ichigo Kurosaki." Kisuke coldly remarked as he stared down at Ichigo.
Ichigo seemed to think about it, before finally replying, "So in 10 days will I... be strong enough?"
"Of course, that's if you think you can handle 10 days of life and death situations?" Kisuke replied casually as he stood back up.
Ichigo's eyes stopped wavering as they turned determined, "Do you even have to ask?"
