[Long Ago, During The Shinigami-Quincy War]

(Third Person POV)

"Captain!!" A Shinigami ran towards a lone woman who stood in a field, "We have an issue!!!" 

The Woman was fair-skinned, well-endowed, whose long black hair was let down, almost reaching down to her hips. Her eyes were devoid of emotion, almost craving for something, they merely stared down at the ground beneath her. 

As the Shinigami reached her, he stopped, looking around them and widening his eyes. 

He had just realized that the field was surrounded by countless mutilated bodies, the dirt dyed red from the blood. 

"W-Where.....when...?" the shinigami muttered to himself

The woman whose presence he was in, was none other than Yachiru Unohana, the First Kenpachi, who would later be known as Retsu Unohana, Captain of the 4th Division of The Gotei 13. She is currently the Captain of the 11th Division, a Divison solely made up of brutish ruffians that seek nothing but blood. 

Then again, the majority of the Gotei 13 were as brutal as the 11th Division currently is. 

Unohana looked at him, "What?" She said with a soft yet venomous tone, "I'm thinking....." 

The Shinigami gulped, "Captain, we had found another squadron of Quincies for you to slaughter but...." He said as he panted slightly, "It was too late...they were all taken in an instant!! Their bodies are now piled up like a mountain!!" 

Yachiru narrowed her eyes slightly, "Take me to this person." She commanded, "At once." 

"Yes!!" the Shinigami bowed

Minutes later, they had traversed the battle-ridden land and towards the Shinigami had claimed there were many Quincies for his Captain to slaughter. 

The Soul Society was currently in a fierce war against the Lichtreich, an army of Quincies led by Ywach, the powerful and enigmatic Quincy King. The Gotei 13 were capable of fighting back, killing as many Quincies that got in their way. 

Yachiru Unohana was no different; she viewed the Battlefield as her own playground to do as she pleases, like the other bloodthirsty captains. But the other Captains, including the Captain Commander, didn't like to get in her way. They all viewed her as the most dangerous, mighty enough to give Yamamoto a run for his money. 

Unohana stepped through some bushes and stopped immediately, beholding a sight even she was not expecting. 

In front of her, there was a massive mountain of corpses, high enough to block out the sun, if it weren't blocked by the rainclouds and smoke from the fires of war. There were countless dead Quincies in the pile, their blood spread all around the ground and rooted itself underneath. The Corpse Mountain was surrounded by Unohana's men, who were standing guard, as if keeping watch of someone or something. 

"Who....?" She softly said as she noticed a lone figure sitting atop of a massive Quincy corpse, "Oh.....It's you....." 

Atop of the corpse, along the middle of the grotesque corpse mountain, a young man wearing Shinigami clothing sat as he cleaned his Zanpakuto's blade. He had short black hair and eyes, with a fierce look on his face. None could tell that he was much younger than most of the Shinigami present, due to the intensity of his face. 

The shinigami who brought her here looked at her, "You know that person, Captain?" He asked, "I demanded to hear his name, seeing that he wore Shinigami clothes and wielded a Zanpakuto...but he didn't respond." 

"He doesn't respond to no-names like you." Unohana responded, "Such is his pride, this one...."

Unohana walked up to the pile and looked at the young man, who paid no mind at first. 

He then furled his eyebrows, "Hm?" He said as he looked at Unohana, "Oh? Ohhhh! Kenpachi-san!!" 

The fiercely serious look on his face drastically changed to that of an excited one as he placed his Zanpakuto on his shoulder, giving Unohana a grin. 

"What are you doing here?" Unohana said seriously, 

"Genryujin."

[Present Day, 110 Years Before The Start of Bleach]

In the main hall of the 1st Division Headquarters, a Captain's Meeting was in place. This was the first meeting shortly after appointing Kisuke Urahara as the new 12th Division Captain. 

There were few attendees currently, including Captain-Commander Yamamoto, 6th Division Captain Ginrei Kuchiki, 7th Division Captain Love Aikawa, 5th Division Captain Shinji HIrako, and 8th Division Captain Shunsui Kyoraku. 

"Ahem." Yamamoto cleared his throat, "Let us begin." 

"Hm?" Ginrei said, "Are you sure?" 

Yamamoto nodded, "Yes." He said, "I wish to make this brief." 

The rest of the Captains shifted a bit nervously; they were unsure if Yamamoto was bothered by the absence of the rest of the Captains, they were called after all. 

Ginrei nodded, "As you wish..." He said

"Alright, for those present, I will let you know now." Yamamoto said, "Central 46 has made another decree; My Grandson is Banned from releasing his Zanpakuto under any circumstances." 

There was a slight reaction to this, one of surprise. 

"What?" Love said, "Are you serious?" 

Yamamoto nodded, "Indeed." 

"Ye gotta be kidding me...." Shini said, "Why'd they gotta do that?" 

"Hm...." Shunsui said, "This is not the first time a Zanpakuto release has been banned in the Soul Society." 

"No, but some guys are banned from releasing their Bankais, or at least restricted from doing so...." Shinji said, "Like me, ya know? But a ban from releasing a Shikai? Shit, that must suck. Is Ryujin-kun taking it good?" 

Ginrei looked at Yamamoto without saying a word, trying to read the Captain-Commander's face. 

"He doesn't care." Yamamoto responded

"Hm." Shunsui said, "That's like him...." 

"But...." Yamamoto said

"Here we go...." Shunsui said closing his eyes

"He says that he won't respond to any Soul Society attacks from here on out." Yamamoto said

"Aw come on." Shinji groaned, "He's being petty now?" 

"Sounds like him...." Love muttered

"This means that whatever threat we are to receive here directly, I must not find out you're going to him for help." Yamamoto said, "That is an order!" 

"Whatever you say...." Shinji

"If I may ask...." Ginrei spoke up, "Where is Captain Unohana?" 

Yamamoto cleared his throat again as he stood up from his seat, "Meeting is adjourned." He said, "You may leave now." 

As Love and Shinji left the room, Shunsui stayed with Ginrei to see Yamamoto walk out of the room as well. 

"Hm...." Ginrei said, "He's not in a good mood..." 

"Tell me about it.....Yama-ji definitely gets stressed when it comes to Genryujin...." Shunsui said with a slight smile

Ginrei looked at him, "You know where Retsu is?" He asked

Shunsui shrugged, "You know where she is." He said, "News like this, you know Genryujin will seek her out for comfort...." 

"Hm...." He said, "So.....the rumors are true?" 

Shunsui looked at him, "Huh?" He said, "Oh that's right, they didn't exactly make it public...." 

"Yea, they're married."

[Somewhere In The Sereitei]

Inside an estate, in a room and on a couch, a man sat with his kimono open. He leaned back as his entire body was exposed, filled with nothing but scars and old wounds.

Genryujin gave her a slight smirk, "Oh, whose call matters the most to you? Your Boss's or your Husband's?" He asked, "Besides, I know you're eager to get out of your Barracks and come to me, eh?" 

Unohana slowed her stroking down as she closed her eyes, "Do not paint me in such a light, Genryujin." She said

"Hehe, sorry." Genryujin 

"You can always have Katori-san to do this." She said, "Where is she by the way?" 

"Busy." Genryujin said, "Went to hunt for some fresh meat, she'll cook dinner tonight. Want to join?" 

"Unfortunately, I cannot." Unohana said as she stood up, "I have duties to attend." 

"Whoa!" Genryujin said as he grabbed her hand, "You're not done here, yet, my beautiful wife....." 

He stood up and pulled Unohana closer to him, pressing her against him. 

"I must not." Unohana said, "I mean it." 

"A quick one, please?" Genryujin said, "We haven't spent much time together, Retsu..." 

Unohana sighed, "Very well....." She said as she stepped back, "But this time, it will be a quick one. Do not tempt me to stay longer than I need to....." 

Genryujin chuckled, "Okay." He said as I reached to grope one of her large breasts, "How I miss these...." 

Unohana closed her eyes, "You know you need to ask me first...." She said

"No I don't." Genryujin said, 

"They're mine after all."
