Chapter 91: Suspicion

After the playful interaction, the members of the Visored gathered around, surrounding Yamahiko. With a serious expression, Shinji Hirako asked, "Kid, were you also forcibly Hollowfied with the Hōgyoku made by Sōsuke Aizen?"

Yamahiko replied, "Yes, he intended to Hollowfy me and use the power of Captain Suì-Fēng to kill me. However, I was prepared and left the Seireitei."

"Suì-Fēng?" Love Aikawa asked, puzzled.

Shinji Hirako frowned and asked, "But why would Aizen do these things to you?"

Yamahiko scratched his head and said, "It might sound unbelievable, but he mistakenly thought I was associated with Captain Kisuke Urahara."

Yamahiko repeated what Aizen had said at that time to everyone. After hearing it, Love Aikawa coughed and said, "Even I thought you were associated with Kisuke Urahara."

Hiyori Sarugaki asked with a mischievous tone, "Hey, kid, tell the truth. Are you the illegitimate child of that baldy Kisuke Urahara?"

Lisa Yadōmaru added with a suggestive tone, "Could it be that you're the child of Miss Yoruichi? Hmm, that's a possibility. Miss Yoruichi has a great figure, you know."

Seeing these people behaving so casually, Yamahiko said with a hint of impatience, "Come on, guys, let's stay on topic."

Love Aikawa asked, "So, why did you come to Karakura Town, and how did you find out that Kisuke Urahara is here?"

Another voice chimed in, and a black cat walked slowly from the side.

"Miss Yoruichi," Shinji Hirako immediately exclaimed.

Kisuke Urahara raised an eyebrow and said to Yoruichi, "Long time no see."

After rescuing them and returning to the living world, Yoruichi's presence remained elusive for a long time. Even Urahara Kisuke, who had seen her only a few times, remarked on her long absence when she appeared at his store in the original story.

It seems this time she was called back for a reason.

Shinji Hirako looked at Yamahiko and asked, "Kid, answer our questions. How did you know we were here?"

Urahara Kisuke spoke softly, "This location is quite secretive. No one should know about it…"

Love Aikawa narrowed his eyes and said, "Or is it that you're an insider for Aizen?"

When Love Aikawa's words fell, Yamahiko could feel the killing intent permeating around his body.

Members of the Visored emitted strands of reiatsu, as if ready to strike him down at the slightest misstep.

They still doubted him.

Urahara Kisuke raised an eyebrow and asked, "What do you mean?"

Yamahiko's face turned cold, and he looked at Urahara as he said, "Mr. Kisuke Urahara, I was born in the Rukongai district. Rukia Kuchiki saved me; she is my good friend and also my sister. Why did she come to Karakura Town and lose her memory? Why does she have something else inside her body?"

Yamahiko was furious about Urahara's unilateral actions. If it weren't for him, Rukia wouldn't have faced such hardships. So, his current expression was not an act.

Urahara Kisuke squinted his eyes and asked, "Do you know about that thing?"

Yamahiko nodded and said, "I witnessed Aizen experimenting with souls, which is when I started paying attention to him. However, his Hōgyoku has never achieved the results he desired. Besides modifying Hollows, he has also been attempting to obtain your Hōgyoku, trying to merge them into one perfect Hōgyoku."

Urahara Kisuke immediately asked, "Does he know that the Hōgyoku is inside Rukia?"

Love Aikawa asked, "Urahara, he isn't a spy, is he?"

Shinji Hirako looked at Yamahiko and said, "If you really have a way to kill him, we can help you."

Yamahiko replied calmly, "Aizen didn't intervene initially; it was Tōsen who attacked me. He was already a captain. After defeating him, Aizen struck me down."

"Kaname Tōsen? That guy became a captain? The current Shinigami don't seem to have high standards." said Kensei Muguruma with an unfriendly expression.

When Kensei Muguruma became a captain, Kaname Tōsen was merely a fifth seat. He ambushed the third and fourth seats and, coupled with his betrayal, angered Kensei greatly.

Yamahiko spoke gently, "If Kenpachi Zaraki only takes off his eyepatch without using both hands in swordsmanship, he's not my match."

"Kenpachi Zaraki? Kid, don't talk nonsense. We all know how strong that monster is when he takes off his eyepatch," said Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi, standing beside Yamahiko.

Seventy-one years ago, Kenpachi Zaraki was already known as a monster, and everyone was aware of his strength.

Urahara Kisuke said, "I provided him with that eyepatch. You claim to be only thirty-two; I find it hard to believe you could defeat Kenpachi Zaraki."

Upon hearing this, Yamahiko stood up and said, "Since everyone doubts my strength, I'd like to demonstrate it. Not to prove how strong I am, but to show how strong Sōsuke Aizen is. Anyone willing to be my opponent?"

The members of the Visored dispersed, creating space for the two.

"Hiyori, make sure to go easy," Shinji Hirako said softly.

Hiyori laughed and replied, "Don't worry, I won't kill him. But since he's underestimating us, I'll teach him a lesson."

"Come on, baldy."

"I'm not bald..."
