Outside Gao Village.
The youth, leading Sun Wukong, headed into a dense forest. With his rosy complexion and strong stride, it was clear he was adept at running errands.
The forest was filled with towering trees, the air rich with bird songs and the scent of flowers. However, as evening approached and they delved deeper, Sun Wukong increasingly sensed a sinister presence in the air, subtle yet indistinct.
Sandu furrowed his brow. As a Buddhist Cultivator, he was familiar with dark auras, and he too felt the eerie nature of the dense forest.
As nightfall neared, the three hurried along the small forest path, the rustling sounds startling small bugs hidden under dry leaves into chaotic flight.
"We're almost there, just up ahead!"
The youth, familiar with the route, kept moving forward without showing signs of fatigue.
"Tsk, tsk, he must have done this quite a few times!"
Sun Wukong speculated, following leisurely behind the youth.
