#13 GRIMOIRE ACCEPTANCE CEREMONY

Asta and Yuno turn 15 years old and are eligible to receive their grimoires. The two of us, along with the other tenants of the church are going to the Grimoire Tower where the acceptance ceremony is held by Drouot. Once a crowd of 15-year-olds have gathered, the master of the Grimoire Tower begins his speech regarding his desire for at least one of the mages who attend the ceremony to enter the ranks of the Magic Knights.

"Welcome everyone, I wish you hope, faith and love. I am the master of this grimoire tower. We've never had a wizard king from this area, nor anyone who's actually achieved greatness in the Magic Knights. I sincerely hope that one of you will become the wizard king someday. No, really! Seriously! Ahem..for the awarding...of the grimoires!"

All of the grimoire flew up, and one of them is tattered and filthy. Everyone receives their grimoire "We will join the magic knights entrance exam after six months." The crowds shouted. It's a noble's son, Yuno's future enemy in battles at the exam. "Good, good. I look forward to it." A grimoire land on Yuno with bright golden light.

"A four-leaf? You mean the legendary..." the noble said.

"The one that the first wizard king received?" Father said.

"Him? That peasant?" "Wow!" "Great job Yuno".

He declared "I will be the wizard king."

Something crash above me. I catch it and saw it. A black five-leaf clover that desires a Demon. This clover symbol is largely unseen due to the dirt. Everyone assumes that it's ordinary grimoire. I clean it properly with a grimoire maintenance kit that I bought from the last town. The black with gold patterned grimoire.

Seeing this all the people went silent creating an awkward atmosphere. But father, Yuno and people from the church were very happy. They congratulate us. Suddenly I feel evil intention toward us.

Asta: ' that should be Revchi. '

Yuno started to go towards the church but took a wrong turn and suddenly few chains came flying across catching him.

??? : " well that was easy, but again what can I expect "

As Yuno tried to use his magic but he was unable to. At that time they both hear someone " Revchi Salik former 1st class junior magic knight of Purple Orca squad."

Revchi cautiously: " who are you, what do you want "

Then they saw a person leaning against the wall with a bored look on his face. seeing him they both exclaim " Asta run ".." five-leaf clover, he..he.. my lucky day "

Then Revchi stared to spout nonsense about selling our Grimoire for lots of money and zero mana value bla..bla..so I just summon my grimoire, Revchi notices that and tries to stop me. However I quickly grabs the sword from my grimoire.

A form of a demon suddenly appeared in my shadow in seconds. I can see it but not Yuno and Revchi. Revchi tried to bind me with more chains but I slash them all apart including him as well in second and knocked him out. I don't want to kill him in front of everyone. Afterward, we return to church for the last few months of training before the exam.

~~~~ Last Day At Hage~~~~

I was meditating again at the top of the demon's skull trying to control my conqueror's Haki properly. Yes, I unlock my conqueror's Haki during my fight with Yami without any extreme emotional condition like others, according to Ray it's due to I received it through wish so all I needed was some stimulation. Luckily Yami provided that. usually no one comes here so I don't have to worry about random people fainting.

Asta: 'Huh? Such a Powerful Magic. Its...wind? Yuno? He is practicing his magic too? *Soru*

~~~ At Yuno's Location~~~

"Hey, can I practice with you?" I asked to Yuno but looks like he didn't hear me. I moved a little more away from him to test one of my abilities. "Anti Magic: Prime Judgement" After I gain my grimoire I could use my anti-magic with flying sword strike of my Yoru. A small slash came out from Yoru and it flew up. It collides with Yuno's wind tornado and nullified it.

Yuno: " uhhh, what happened? oh it's you Asta "

Seeing my sword out He understood and also prepare for a spar. During these last few months I either polish my skills or spar with Yuno giving him some pointers.

Now we are both ready for the future better than ever.

The next day we both pack our stuff for a journey towards capital. well usually most of the stuff which I bought during my travel is inside my inventory.

Asta: "any way we should get going father, the earlier the better"

Father: " of course be careful on your journey and look after each other " we both nodded

Sister: " I hope you both do great "

Nash: " Thank you, big brother, Asta, Because of all the money you had send us last year, we don't need to eat tatos anymore." and all the kids hug me and wish me luck while crying. seeing this Yuno becomes jealous and promises them to send more money after he joins the magic knight squad. we all chuckle seeing him like this.

Asta: " alright we are going, see ya everyone"

After leaving Hage we took wagon for a ride. There was no need for running like an idiot, No thank you very much I have enough money for that. After a long journey we both arrive at the royal capital of the Clover kingdom. The Magic Knight entrance exam awaits.
