Chapter 12: Monsters Battlefield Part B…
Everyone was left flabbergasted by the change that had just taken place. The crowd was divided on where its focus was to be pointed, the fight or the creatures in holding. The area was drastically changed from what it was before. Some cages were splattered with blood and innards, but no creatures. There was left a sizable mound of dirt inside of them and even Gargy's cage was empty...
(Crowd) "What the shit??? LOOK IN THE HOLDING CAGE!!!! What has transpired inside there???" The crowd's temperature had immediately elevated to substantially higher levels. Everyone is on tilt and scrambling to figure out what's the next step or what's going on... But it was the perfect cover for BlackBlood to have a brief 'one on one' with San...
(A few seconds after the shaking and commotion of the battlefield took place) San turned pale, he went to rub his head and noticed sweat running down from the palms of his hands. He looked up into his palms but before he could grasp what was happening to him, he sat down and closed his eyes...
BlackBlood had been next to Grada, Aet, & Cerq during the whole ordeal and when the change happened inside the battlefield she quickly started spouting off a chant {Meet the Seeker, Feel the shadow} not common to the ears of the other three individuals within proximity... (Grada) She must be searching to feel if her Gargoyle is still alive. But let's not risk it by standing so close let's move away from her... They both nodded and moved to the other side of the room and went back on about the fight with no worries in mind...
San suddenly stood up and opened his eyes, they were not the same blazing green pupils he had before but in their place were deep red pupils as if overflowing with pools of blood.... His change went unnoticed by the members but BlackBlood locked eyes with him. She just gave a simple nod and San confirmed her nod with one of his own....
She was now connected to San on a cerebral level and she had laid out her plan within his mind and clearly San was now on board despite not saying a word. BlackBlood is starting her momentum to the final battle...
(BlackBlood) Mhandy is a survivor but the writing is on the wall. Grada, our blood pact is sealed right, because once my gargoyle returns from having playtime inside the belly of the Labyrinth he will be hungry and Hyena meat has all the nutrients we need.... Chi Chi Chi... You all ran away from me when I was connecting to my minion but see no need to fear....
(Cerq) Mhandy has survived Paoki Star when half of the population was wiped out by the Black Storm.... I'm tired of being in your presence when this is over I will find a Creature just right to destroy your little Gargy....
(Grada) Mhandy might be the ultimate survivalist, but can he last with all these harsh conditions and now that the ground has given way, I feel that its up in the air.... Aet was this why you felt so confident? You knew none of us here had been in such dangerous lands before... This must have been a dream for you right??
(Aet) Well, the sinkhole was unexpected, but from the looks of their last encounter that troll of Cerq was about to take a dirt-nap. Seeg never quits hunting down his prey. So be prepared to see your troll lying at the bottom of this sinkhole in a pool of blood left by his decapitation...
(Cerq) Don't be so self-loathing, I envision something completely opposite once we can see down there... My Troll is more than capable of handling a speedster like yours, and Grada just watch, it'll all come to a head here soon...
The crumbling of rocks could be heard and an overhead view was shown. The hole was shrouded in a dark cloud from the top down view of the screen then -zoom- in a snap, the image was now taken to the bottom of the sinkhole... The area was well lit by the bubbling fluorescent pools of lava spanning across a massive open area leading down into a basin of lava....
Small land masses littering the area would have to be the footing for these Monsters. Just by the look of this place it's do or die time. If the Labyrinth kept up its ferocious onslaught down there they both might perish in a flaming pool of Lava...
As the view soared around the inside of the cave like hole Seeg was seen peering around in search of Mhandy but the troll was not visible... The same trick as in the beginning of the fight but this time it's more deadly due to the darkness of the Sinkhole...
Seeg would make his way to one of the larger chunks of land down there, it had a large boulder in the center, obstructing the view behind it. So he thought just maybe the Troll was behind there plotting an ambush attack. As Seeg approached the boulder, there was a shifting of rocks -tat- tat- coming from behind it, so Seeg darted off behind it with killing intent, but nothing was back there. - tat-tat- Now the sound was coming from the front side of the boulder....
Seeg followed the sounds, once he reached the front of the boulder nothing again. -thoomp- thoomp- a pool of lava had just pushed out a magma bubble and it was heading directly towards Seeg. The Golem attempted to dart away quickly but the boulder instantaneously sprouted limbs similar to the Prism troll...
Seeg was caught off guard... One arm grabbed him by the throat, the other arm reached its mark... -Pff- Pff- Pff- three blows to the sternum. It was Mhandy he was the boulder. (Crowd) A transformation?? Seeg found himself looking down as Mhandy's fist dug deep into his solar plexus. Ripping snatching out chunks of innards in the process...
Each blow was in rapid succession and enough force that Seeg had no answer. Seeg reached with one claw to block Mhandy before he landed another blow and simultaneously reached within its hole and at that moment... - Gwrraaaaaa- Mhandy roared loudly in its face in rage. Then he head butted the troll, but when swung for another blow Seeg Jabbed the bone through his neck with enough force that it was now stuck...
Mhandy turned and with a mighty grunt he slung Seeg as directly into the bubble of molten magma... A soft pop echoed out and was followed by a -plumpf- Seeg's body hit the cave floor he was now laying in a splatter of his own blood. Both legs gone.....
The fight has taken a major shift within the Cave...
