Feeling groggy, the doctor wakes up to a chilling sensation around him, startling himself.
His body is still not very mobile, but his hearing and touch senses have improved greatly.
The doctor hears the movement of people around him, but he doesn't dare open his eyes lest they discover he's awake.
"Should we lift him up? We can't just leave him on the ground, right?"
"I don't think we need to. He'll wake up soon and get up on his own."
It seems like the doctor can feel the cold cement floor beneath his body, not knowing where he's been confined, but the hardness from the ground made lying down unbearable.
"Is he here?"
An indifferent male voice sounded, and the doctor didn't recognize any of the voices, seemingly different from those who previously sought him out.
Indeed, it was different.
The one who brought the doctor to this basement was Pierce Lennon.
