When I arrived at the villa, it was already eight forty-five in the morning.

Originally, I would go out at seven o'clock and arrive in fifty minutes. However, the bus was stuck in the traffic jam and couldn't move. It was nearly an hour later than I expected.

When I entered the villa, I thought Edmund would have got up and gone to the company at this time. However, when I entered the password and unlocked the door, I saw a tall figure dressed in Khaki furniture coming downstairs.

I was shocked at first, but soon calmed down.

"You... You didn't go to work?" I asked him when he went straight to the sofa and sat down.

"I'm not used to working when I'm hungry." Without raising his head, he picked up the newspaper on the tea table and began to read it.

What did he mean?

I thought about it and suddenly realized that he was blaming me for not making breakfast for him and making him unable to go to work?
