Brenda s actions are not lost on Cecelia; she hid a smile and then decided to set bait, "So Dave called while you were still sleeping."

"He called, is he not at home?" she took quick spoons of her oatmeal cereal, hiding her curiosity under nonchalance

"He s usually not home at this hour. But for the first time I sensed, he wished he was home"

The slight shy smile was not lost on Cecelia. She has never seen two people genuinely in love but pride will not allow both of them to think with their hearts and not their heads. "He drove by your house but apparently the paparazzi were practically lodged at your gate waiting for any news about your father."

Brenda s head snapped up her eyes focused on Cecelia, she dropped her cutlery. "I have forgotten all about them. The hospital forbade press on their properties or else they would be sued." She explained to the older woman.
