Mum’s life

I took out my phone,Shit!15 missed calls,8 messages,I knew Mum must've been worried,I boarded a boss back to the hospital.I ran and went to Mum's room but she wasn't there,I was scared,then I saw Andrew,Andrew where's mum,Where have you been Adela,Just answer my question Andrew.

Your mum had an attack and was moved to another room but she's fine now,I started shaking then Andrew took me to where mum was kept,I saw Rita there then I went to mum and gave her a kiss on her forehead,I'm sorry I wasn't here with you and I dropped down tears from my eyes.

Then I left the room when the doctor told me to let her rest,I wiped my tears,Doctor will my mum be okay?Mrs Jordan your mum will be okay only if she undergoes the surgery in 2 days.2days I asked and I tried my bed to hold my tears.I sat on the chair outside thinking of how to get money for mum when Rita and Andrew came and hugged me saying it's going to be okay,I got emotional and let out my tears.

They were always there for me,Rita told me that she will be giving me her salary to contribute for mum's surgery and Andrew also gave me some money,Thank you,I said to them.Then Rita left because it was late.

After Andrew had gone,I looked at mum and cried,I was contemplating if I should accept Mr cruel man's offer or not.I had flashbacks of when dad left mum and I when I was 8,Dad always beat mum everytime and he tried to assault me sexually telling me it's what fathers and daughters do,he always brought different women to our house but I was too young to understand,When he left he took mum's savings with him and mum had nothing except me,I know she went through a lot to feed me and send me to school and this is all I can to for her by saving her life even if it meant me selling myself.
