Chapter 8: The Traitor
Then the 3D image got stopped and then the Asur General pressed some more switch on the machine and after some time another image popped up and this time around it was not a three dimensional image however it was like a projection of a screen in the air and the face of a human was displayed on the screen.
The Asur General asked with a mocking expression: "Human you have promised us that you would lead your people out of the Dark dimension and never enter the desolate area or lead the human spaceship in such a way that it will be damaged but on the contrary not only your group of humans had escaped the artificial asteroid zone but also entered the desolate area so are you going back on your words now."
The Asur General was one of the evil beings however even among the evil beings certain principles prevailed in which royalty towards your mother species was the most important and if they found any of the Asur's become the traitor then the outcome of that Asur would be worse than death since betraying your own species was seen as the worst form of crime among the evil beings so naturally the General did not have a good opinion about the traitor and did not trust the person. He was just interacting with him because he was expecting that this traitor will provide crucial information about the location of the energy essence which will help him get the energy essence as per the command from his emperor.
Dilip said: "General I did try my best to convince them to abandon the mission and return but it seemed that this group is very dedicated towards achieving their goals so could not convince them also I tried to misled them into thinking there is no danger in the asteroid belt however they were still very vigilant and successfully escaped the asteroid zone."
The Asur General said: "Tell us the exact location of the energy essence and I can promise you more wealth when you will reach your home planet."
Dilip who was the vice captain of the team currently sent by the Interdimensional Warrior Association was here sharing top secret information about the humans association. If Captain Siddhant and his rest of the team came to know about this then not only they will be surprised but disgusted to the very core as no one would have believed that the vice captain of the team sent by the Interdimensional Warrior association was actually a traitor.
Dilip said: "I do not know the exact location of the energy essence. I have already told you the information which I knew that it should be somewhere in the desolate area of the galaxy. The exact location of the energy essence is only known to the captain of the team to maintain privacy as per the norms."
The Asur General said: "Human try to find out this information from him as soon as possible or else you may not get the wealth and luxurious life which we have promised you."
The Asur General knew very well the traits of the humans since many of his spies were there in the human world keeping an eye on the characteristics of the humans hence they knew that how greedy these humans were and the corruption was spread at what level. The General already knew that these kinds of people can do anything to gain wealth, even sell their motherland.
Dilip was the vice-captain of the Interdimensional Warrior and had been given a lot of authority by the association which is second only to the Captain Siddhant in the team but due to the recent events when his judgment was questioned by the captain himself he felt threatened by them. Though he already sold the secret information to the Asuras however he was resentful that he was not been made the captain of the ship and had not been given the full authority so he was always trying to prove Captain Siddhant and his decisions wrong and portray himself as if he is a much better leader in terms of leading the team. Also he wanted to prove that his Yuniv sect was superior to the Surya sect.
Dilip said: "I already told you that I do not know anything about the exact location of the energy essence apart from the thing which I already told you previously and if I try to get more information from the captain then he may suspect me on this since it is not the basic norm of the mission. Also please do not contact me like this since I am already on the spaceship with the rest of the team and if they catch me speaking with an Asur General then I will be in trouble. If I get any more information I will contact you myself so please do not contact me when I am on mission and make sure that the things I asked are all prepared when I go back on earth. If there is nothing else for you to say to me then I will take my leave." and with that Dilip disconnected the call.
The Asur general thought: "Disgusting puny humans can do anything for a bit of wealth. The human race should be eradicated or enslaved once we come out of the Dark dimension then these humans will be our slaves and will be treated as the playthings and food for the evil beings."
