Chapter-8 First floor of the pagoda

Ye Xu sat cross legged, closed his eyes and slowly entered the ethereal state. Then he saw the same sight again, a small light in the darkness. He got near it and his soul was pulled inside it. He reached the place where the pagoda was standing tall on the centre. He slowly walked towards the pagoda and touched the door. The door started opening and Ye Xu went in. When he entered the pagoda, the door closed itself and he was in an empty space. Far away he could see another door but he could not move himself at all. Then slowly he started falling down. He did not understand what was happening. In the darkness, he was just going down and down and slowly he stopped. He was in a grand space. There were fire, thunder, water and all the elements randomly floating around. The number of elements were countless.

He looked at the fire and tried to connect his thought onto it. Then suddenly all the elements around him started turning into fire. The space was filled with fire all around. Information emerged within him. Those were the laws of fire. When the element of fire is born in the body, the fire can be manifested. The fire can be improved by using the essence of fire. The essence of fire can be found in the nature in different forms. The more essence is absorbed, the greater the fire range and control. The initial stage will start off with a white-halo and the more powerful the fire, the higher grade will be the halo. While he was thinking, his chaos fire started trembling. Then it slowly moved on its own and vanished from the spirit space in the heart. He was immersed in the laws of fire that he did not notice all this happening. Then the chaos fire appeared outside and moved around Ye Xu. It suddenly turned into a beam of light and went into his hands and disappeared. A small flame mark appeared in the palm of his hand and his whole hand was engraved in golden mantras. The mantras vanished soon after and all that was left was a golden mark on his palm.

Ye Xu was immersed in the law of fire. It was as if the fire was him and he was the fire. He felt something all of a sudden and he manifested a small fire in front of him in the empty space. Last time when he manifested the fire, it had white halo around it but this time there was green-halo surrounding it. He recalled that the green halo is 3 tier above the while halo. He was surprised. He did not know what happened.

Suddenly, a door appeared in the space. A ray of light from the fire went straight to the door and it entered a slot. The slot lit up. He looked around it to see there was 8 more slots on the door. He could vaguely understand it. It seems he has to master 9 elements to green-tier to open that door. It must lead to the second floor of the pagoda.

He had another element that was wood. He started thinking about wood element and all the fire elements around him turned into the elements of woods. He was surrounded by laws of wood. But this time it was not like before. He could feel the law of wood but not as strongly was he felt during the fire element. Still he got immersed in the law and a lot of time passed. He saw the power of wood elements, he perceived the feeling of the law of woods and he felt like his affinity with the wood element was growing stronger. He then tried to manifest the wood element and a small green ball with orange-halo was in front him. The ball then moved and entered his body. His vitality seems to be increased a lot and he felt like it could be useful for other than himself too. His understanding of wood element was already very high and if he had enough wood essence, the element could even be upgraded to yellow-halo and even green-halo.

Ye Xu then got out of the ethereal state and opened his eyes. He noticed something strange on his hands. There was a golden flame mark on his palm. It looked like chaos flame. When he tried to perceive the flame spirit, it was no longer there. He understood how his flame element directly turned into green-halo. It was due to this chaos flame.

Ye Sui on the other hand had changed completely , he looked more fierce now and gave an evil type of feeling. Ye Xu could feel the pressure of the darkness element in his soul. The darkness element is one of the rare element that can affect the soul.

"Young master, my hell guardian spirit suddenly transferred a strange cultivation technique into my mind. Fiendgod Body, it had 9 parts and i tried practicing the first part but it seems to require too much pure energy. It will take some weeks to store up energy for the success. When i complete the Fiendgod body, i have a feeling that nothing in this world can stop me." Ye Sui was very excited after getting that technique.

"Fiendgod body huh.. the body that the king of hell used to destroy half of the heaven,"Ye Xu murmured unconsciously.

"Young master? Who is the king of hell you are taking about?" Ye Sui was puzzled.

Ye Xu paused for a moment. He did not understand why he said that. Who is the king of hell, he has no memories in his mind.

"Forget it, now we need to go to the Shenxi mainland first. Let's see what outside world looks like." Ye Xu then narrowed his eyes." But first i need to find out something."
