Chapter 3 Selling the jade

"Young master, what happened? Why are you out so fast?"Ye Sui shouted.

"Why? Look at this. This is for you." Ye Xu gave the red knuckles to Ye Sui and said," Since you like using fists, use this on your hand. This is a good weapon."

Ye Sui did not hesitate and put the knuckles on his hand."This feels so great. Thank you young master."

"Small things. Now try to punch the door with that." Ye Xu looked at him and was curious how powerful a basic weapon can be.

Ye Sui was excited and he gathered his strength and punched hard on the door. The door was made up of a strong wood and it would be impossible for normal people to break it. But what happened made Ye Sui shocked. The door broke down. Yes, the door that even Stone-Tier martial artist could barely damage ,was broken.

"Hahahaha" Ye Xu was amazed. He saw how powerful the basic weapon can be even when used by normal people. Ye Sui was speechless," Young master , this...this is too strong. You really made this? Even the door is broken young master. I am really sorry. I did not mean it."

"Don't worry about it. It seems basic weapons are really powerful. I wonder how my knife is."

"Sui, first fix that door then let's go to the mountain to train."

"Yoooung master.. the door is too expensive. We got only 20 silver left," Ye Sui whispered in a low voice.

Ye Xu looked blank. How could he forget, they don't have much money. He laughed."Let's go to the weapon pavilion. I have some few jade left. Maybe we can sell it there."

They walked towards the weapon pavilion. It was a small city they were in and the pavilion was located in the west. It was a big building with a big sword and halberd on the top of the building. It looked spectacular. The weapon pavilion and the Alchemy house is the most popular place in the town. They are believed to be just the branch of the Mainland. So no one would dare mess with them not even the city lord who has a Rock-tier cultivation base that is above the Stone-tier.

The two of them entered inside the pavilion. They were wearing shabby dress and they went to the counter. " I have something to sell. Can you help me?," Ye Xu said in a proper manner.

The girl in the counter looked at the two young boys and said rudely," What do you want to sell?"

Ye Xu could see her distain but he did not care so he showed the few pieces of amenite jade.

The girl was angry. She was not expecting these beggar kids to come sell this useless jade that is so common. She looked at the jade and could see nothing special so she threw that on the ground. " Guards, take these beggars away from here and throw them out," she shouted.

"How dare you call us beggars," Ye Sui was angry.

Ye Xu was also angry. He was not expecting things to turn this way. If so ,he was ready to kill and leave if they touch him.

"What is the commotion here," a loud voice came from the inside. Then a big blurry man with a scar on his face came towards them.

"Greetings Pavilion master, you.. why are you here," the girl was shocked. It was rare that pavilion master comes to the building and it seems today he came.

"Master, it is nothing. These beggars just came in to sell the useless jade so i asked the guard to throw them out."She explained.

The pavilion master looked around could understand the situation. He looked at the two kids. They had not been awakened but he felt a instinct of danger from Ye Xu who was looking at him in surprised. He then looked at the jade on the ground and picked it up. He looked at the red jade carefully and looked at the girl.

"How long have you been working here?"

"Master, i just joined a week ago." The girl spoke. She thought the master was happy with her. But suddenly she was slapped by the pavilion master so hard that she fell down with blood all over her face."Master why? I.. i was not wrong."

"Not wrong? This a a amenite jade, a high quality one enough to forge a element-tier weapon and you bitch dare to throw this? Guards throw her out and don't ever let me see her face again," the pavilion master shouted.

"Please nooo... i am sorry i was not aware," the girl was dragged out of the shop.

Ye Xu looked at the pavilion master. He was surprised. He could feel a huge pressure coming from him. So this is a martial artist.

"Dear guests, it was our fault so i hope you can forgive us. The jade is a high quality one and we will give you twice the price as apology. And I can see that the brother is wearing a basic weapon on his hand. Are you by any chance a basic forger?"the pavilion master asked them with interest.

"This was forged by young master. This weapon is very powerful. Young master is truly great. He is destined to be the best." Ye Sui said with excitement.

The pavilion master looked at Ye Xu. Ye Xu was looking at him calmly. He could even feel a trace of danger from him. He was curious. What is their identity? A basic forger at this age?

"I am sorry i could not recognize the young master. Please forgive me. Let me introduce myself. My name is Lin Xu. I am a pavilion master of this branch and i am a basic forger myself. Because of my lack of elemental power, i am stuck as basic forger for my whole life."

"Elemental power? What is that?" Ye Xu thought in his mind.

"I am Ye Xu. It is good to meet you."

Ye Xu did not like to talk much. So there was a silence for a moment.

Lin Xu felt kind of awkward so he went inside and came out with money.

" Here is 120 gold. The amenite jade is rare and the piece you brought are worth 60 gold and as promised the other 60 is an apology." He handed out the gold. Ye Sui was excited. He had not seen so much gold. They used to make few silvers from selling the weapons and gold was to far away for them.

"Thank you. Since the deal is over, we should be going now." Ye Xu then turned and left the pavilion.

Lin Xu looked at the boy and was amazed by his personality. He felt like he will see them soon again.
