Melty's Dillema
The fight was over. They did not see the spectacular and fierce competitive matches they expect from the challenge battle. They only witness a one-sided defeat of their soldiers. The reality differed from what they thought. They had killed nine of their best fighter just like that. Their enemy squash on their hope and belief as they did nothing spectacular. Their enemy saw them like an ant. They are worth nothing in front of their enemy. The realization was dawning on them. If they don't overwhelm their enemy with their enormous population. Then, they would be like fish on the chopping board in this war.
What an irony?
The giant sturdy man stood in front of Thomas with his previous arrogance gone into thin air. Arrogant! In front of this young man. He won't know he would die. He became docile and dare not stare at the young man in white. However, Thomas did not bother to look at him. He stared at the three commanders, waiting for their decision.
