Beginning of the Ranking Battle
Thomas walked towards his room while he had already changed his torn white robe into a new one. Though, he may look like he did not change after undergoing the rigorous training. However, people like Zara would be astonished by his current power. Every tissue on his body was flowing with enormous power while his physical strength is nothing to joke about.
Having gone close to a month, many changes had happened inside the academy. Along the way, Thomas could hear various gossip.
"Did you hear the Empire is preparing for war?"
"Yes! Everybody knows that now"
"But you have never heard how it is related to the academy, right?"
"What will happen to the academy? Don't tell me the academy will be closed during this war"
"No! Why would you think such!"
"Just tell us what happened"
"Ok! Listen"

"Tell us! what's with all this charade"
"Listen! Due to the prestige of the academy and shortage of cultivators, the strongest student will be a commander in the upcoming war."
