Fourteenth Meal - Beef Stew (4)

When Yami's attention was on her, the little girl couldn't help being scared.

She had seen how easily the hunters had been thrown out and how even the gun had been useless. Even a little girl like her was able to tell that this was all done by Yami, so she was a little scared of her because of it.

She wasn't terrified of her because of how Yami had comforted her earlier.

However, when Yami looked at her like this, she couldn't help becoming more scared.

Yami saw this and came over slowly, in a non threatening manner. She was able to make it in front of the little girl before reaching her hand out to her and saying, "I'm not going to hurt you, alright?"

The little girl looked at Yami with bright eyes and then slowly gave a nod before reaching her hand out to hold Yami's hand.

Yami gently helped the girl off the ground and then she turned her around to have a proper look at her.

After looking over her body, she said, "You're quite dirty."
