BETHIE'S POV😇❤️🦋

"Ahhhhh" I yawned as I woke up from my sleep ,I rubbed my tommy as it has become a daily routine for me to pat and gaze at my baby well technically "my baby Carrier ".

It was been two months and a week since I got here

And my baby was exactly three months and a week

I went into the bathroom to take my bath before going to the restaurant to start my daily activities .

When it was afternoon ,Ginny called us to her office

" some customers are coming for meeting this afternoon ,I would like you guys to act in an orderly manner ,I don't want to hear any complaints either from the customers or you guys ,am I clear ???"

"Yes Ginny" we all chorused ,well except from me who doesn't really talk .

Ginny could be strict and harsh sometimes but only people who are closer to her knows her true personality .

After some minutes ...

Ginny asked us to take some wine and desserts to our private lounge for the guests who were having their meeting there

And then we entered in a row ,we were acting like people who were lining up for food ,it was pretty funny but I knew not to laugh or act unruly in front of the guests

" Bethie " I heard someone call my name ,I raised my head and then I saw him ,he was looking at me. I didn't know what happened but my legs acted on it's own and I bolted through the door .

I ran to the store room and then I slumped on the floor and started crying 😢 with my head in between my bent knees ,I would be lyin if I said I didn't blame him secretly for my misfortune ,true ! It was both our fault ,I couldn't just help but blame him for carrying me to that room .

I heard the door to the store open and Mabel came in

" Bethie what happened ??,why did you run away like that ?? Like as if you saw a ghost ??" She demonstrated with her hands ,Mabel had the habit of exaggerating things .

I wiped my tears and then I said "No "

Apart from Ginny and Mabel ,I don't talk to anyone else because only they could understand my words . She looked at me with a kind of gaze that said 'I don't believe you '

I said "no" again to re -assure her,she nodded and then I sighed in relief ,we walked out of the store room together ,Ginny was standing outside the door with her hands on her hip just like a mother hen

" what the hell happened?? " she asked ,nearly screaming .

She was waiting for my answer but instead Mabel answered her

" Ginny ,she is just stressed out and you know maybe pregnancy hormones ,I think you should let her go back to the quarters to rest "

Ginny looked at me but my head was down

" ok fine !"

I bowed then I left the place

When I got to my room , I started packing my things

It was true I blamed him a little but still I didn't want to ruin his reputation Incase ,I could easily asked for his help but I didn't want him to see me as an opportunist and I was not the type who liked relying on other people .

I looked back once more and then left ,it was easier to escape since nobody was in the quarters .

Back in the private lounge ...

" president Waish " a voice broke me out of my thoughts and I came back to my senses .

" let's continue please "

But my mind was not In the meeting anymore

Why did she run away ??? I kept asking myself

When the meeting was over , I asked to see the owner ,a middle aged lady came to meet me .

" president waish i am sorry about ..."

" can we talk in your office ??"

I cut her off ,she nodded and then she led me to inside a room I assumed was her office

(A.T : of course , it's her office , you obviously asked her to take you to her office )

She started apologizing again

" ma'am I'm not angry , the girl who ran away the other time ,does she work for you ??"

" yes "

" can you tell me when you employed her ,did she tell you about her parents and other things about herself "I rushed my words because I was dying of anxiety

" hmmmm.,, president waish ,I'm so sorry I can't really tell you about my employee ,I respect their privacy and besides why are you interested in her "

I sighed before saying " well I know her and something happened between us around like three months ago ,we had a one night stand and I think she is carrying my baby " I looked up to see the woman looking at me in shock .

And then she screamed before saying " you are the jerk that got my poor Bethie pregnant 🤰 "

" calm down "

I told her , and then explained all that happened to her

And then she made an 'oh '

I nodded and then said " I've looking for her since I got back from my business trip ,I went to her former house but her neighbors told me that her mother sent her packing and I feel

Very guilty ,trust me I didn't mean to sleep with her that night , I was drugged with aphrodisiac ."

" so what do you want me to do for you now ??

"

" I know she probably hates me because of what happened but I want to take responsibility of her and our baby ,I want you to help me convince her to come home with me "

But before she could answer, a young lady burst in

" Ginny ,Bethie she ..... she ran away,I couldn't find her in her room "

" No , she probably went to get something " the owner whose name was Ginny said

" no she took all her clothes"

And the my brain stopped functioning

Why was the world so cruel to me ?i just found her and.....no no !its not happening , I brought out my phone to call Ryan and then i asked if Ginny had her picture ,yes I do , thankfully she usually collect the passport photos of her employee and she got one for Bethie too . I took the picture and sent it to Ryan and instructed him to look for her , she can't go that far yet ,right ???.

"I heard your son was back in the country "Norah said to her husband ," yes he is " her husband replied

"I think you should be fast about what you want to do before he gets a whiff of what is happening ,need I remind you that the boy is too smart "

"Of course he is smart, after all,he took after me but sadly he didn't take after my scheming -self ,and his smartness would only lead him to his grave " mr Waish said and he chuckled .
